Travel to London first class
With plush new seats, fresh carpets and lovelier loos, not to mention free onboard entertainment and wifi when you book direct, travelling by train always trumps going by car, and it’s even better in First Class – which is why we’re giving away 5 Anytime Return Tickets from Leeds to London. They’re the most flexible tickets available, so you can travel whenever you want. Once onboard, you can dig into a menu created by award-winning chef, James Martin, and wash it down with free drinks, served at your table. This is the life!
Stay in the BUG House at ZSL London Zoo
Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! That’s right, we’re giving you the chance to spend the night at ZSL London Zoo. Don’t worry, it’s totally safe and an absolutely incredible experience. You’ll have a dedicated host for the evening, with a torch-lit tour of the zoo and an animal talk before you sleep in the BUG House. You’ll be camping out surrounded by insects, spiders, millipedes and lots of other creepy crawlies – bring your sleeping bag! In the morning, you’ll all get a continental breakfast before you take a private tour of the zoo and leave with goodie bags and a t-shirt.
Do afternoon tea, Mad Hatter style
It’s time to tumble down the rabbit hole, because we’re giving away a fantastical afternoon tea at Sanderson Hotel. Their Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea is a magical experience – you’ll be treated to all manner of tasty treats, with dishes inspired by the characters from the book. Tuck into the Queen of Hearts’ rose and strawberry Jammy Dodger and snaffle the Mad Hatter’s vanilla pocket watch macaroon, with savoury treats like parmesan croque-monsieur and the obligatory warm scones, clotted cream and fruit preserve. You’ll enjoy it all outside on the terrace, with heaters and snuggly blankets.
Step into the past at The London Dungeon
It’s one of the most kid-friendly attractions in London – you’ll laugh, you’ll scream and you’ll love every minute, as you tour the dungeons taking in 19 interactive shows and over 1,000 years of history. Along the way, you’ll meet Sweeney Todd, the murderous barber, and Guy Fawkes, the man behind the gunpowder plot. It’s part theatre, part theme park, so expect live actors, special effects and underground rides on your journey through the capital’s horrible history.
