A timeless trail and a tab at The Chemic Tavern

Win this prize and you can head off to the Meanwood Valley Trail just north of Leeds city centre. It’s a glorious place to wander, taking you past Woodhouse Moor and Ridge. Break up your walk with a sweet £150 bar tab at the cosy Chemic Tavern. This friendly pub is a firm favourite if you’re setting off for a pootle or need warming up at the end, and you’ll be able to sample their craft ales and extensive spirits range. There’s live music to enjoy most days too. Start your walk by heading to Woodhouse Moor on the 1, 6 or 27 bus on the Headingley Line – you’ll be there in around 23 minutes, with services every five to six minutes.
The glories of Otley Chevin and a nook at North Bar Social

This gorgeous Otley Chevin Forest walk has everything you need – unforgettable vistas, woods and wildlife, remains of mysterious cottages and even a sculpture trail.
