There are places to party… and then there’s Smokestack. We’re giving you a chance to get your very own shindig at this iconic venue.

Smokestack is an absolute Leeds landmark for those who love a late night, and with its buzzy vibe, cracking cocktails and commitment to carousing, there isn’t a dull one to be had here. The really good news? You don’t have to share it with anyone else, unless you really want to. You can hire the upstairs Roost bar for free on any night of the week for up to 180 people. There are drinks and food packages aplenty to add, and you can even rock out to your very own playlist on their booming sound system. And if you win this competition, you can get a taster of what makes it so special.

Ain’t no party like your very own party

If you’re our lucky winner, you’ll get Smokestack’s Roost all to yourself for a whole evening. You can invite up to 100 guests to party with you, and each gets a welcome drink when they rock up. Whether they fancy a beer or a Prosecco, it’ll be ready and waiting for them. Fancy a cocktail? Just tell the good folk at Smokestack which one you fancy from their classic and signature lists. Their recently revamped menu includes all manner of original and utterly suppable delights, worth checking out.

Drink in hand, you can dance the night away to their selection of funk and soul classics, or program your own playlist and they’ll play it for you, on the kind of system you really want to hear your Spotify creations on. Want to make sure everyone is fed and watered? You can pay for food and drink packages and even design your own cocktail, named after whatever you want – perfect if you want to redeem your prize for a special occasion. It doesn’t get much better than a free private hire party, so get your entries in pronto and fingers crossed you’ll be hosting your very own soiree at the always smoking Smokestack.

Terms & Conditions

The free prize draw is open until 5pm on Friday 3rd March 2023. There is one prize available. The prize is in two (2) parts. 1) An evening’s private hire of Smokestack for up to 100 guests. Party must take place by 31st August 2023. 2) A welcome drink on arrival for each guest – either Prosecco, beer or a cocktail agreed with the venue ahead of the event. This free prize draw is open to UK residents with a valid UK postal address only. One winner will be randomly selected from the database of entrants who completed the prize draw online entry form. Employees and family of Smokestack, Leeds Digital Magazines or any agencies connected with the set up of this prize draw are not eligible to enter. No cash alternative. Subject to availability. No fancy dress. Smokestack operates a Check 25 policy. Guests under the age of 18 must leave before 9pm. Welcome drink limited to one drink per guest. The winner will be contacted by email. The winner must confirm that they’re eligible and able to accept within 24 hours of the email being sent. If a winner does not contact us within this time period, we reserve the right to choose another winner at random from all other eligible entries. All entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
