It’s full of all the whimsy and magical charm you can imagine. Poetic narration, moving furniture and a cinematic soundtrack will immerse you in festive joy as you wander through the twinkling rooms. To top it all off, the kids can meet Father Christmas on one of their special Twilight Family Experiences.

The Christmas Experience at Lotherton
Lotherton is back with its fifth year of Christmas fun, and while things might be a little different to help keep you safe, it promises to be as full of festive cheer as ever. Bring the kids and venture into the fairy-lit woods on the Twelve Days Trail. There’ll be an array of enchanting light installations to dazzle you around every corner. We’re talking dancing light-up ladies, calling birds twittering in the trees and, of course, five huge gold rings. After you’ve explored, stop by the bivouac to hear festive tales from the elves and have a special one-to-one with the big man himself.
The Christmas Experience takes over Lotherton from Friday 27th November 2020 to Sunday 3rd January 2021. You need to pre-book your ticket through their website.
A Winter’s Trail at Skelton Grange
The woods at Skelton Grange have been taken over by Christmas fairies and you can get a glimpse into their secret world on A Winter’s Trail. Wind your way through the forest and keep your eyes peeled for miniature sculptures and fairy-lit festive scenes hidden amongst the trees. Once you’ve explored every nook and cranny along the enchanting trail, you can warm up around the campfire with a hot drink and sweet treat. Your ticket money goes straight back into Skelton Grange’s woodland conservation work, so what better way is there to spend a winter’s evening with the family?
