Get ready to boogie the night away at an outdoor disco, watch classic flicks at a drive-in cinema and enjoy an almighty feast at a food festival. Missing nights out at Beaver Works? The Marquee Sessions are the next best thing. It’s a socially-distanced, seated club night, with drinks flowing and music playing ’til late. They’ve got a line-up of DJs from Bobby’s Disco, Mixtape Project and Just A Little to blast feel-good summer tunes as you kick back with your mates. It’s under a marquee with heaters, so you’re sorted whatever the weather.

Daisy Dukes Drive-In Cinema
The 50s-style Daisy Dukes Drive-In Cinema is coming to Leeds this summer. They’ll be screening an array of crowd-pleasing classics in the picturesque grounds of Temple Newsam. The screen is massive and the audio is transmitted direct to your car’s radio, so all you need to do is pick the flick – there’s everything from The Greatest Showman to Pulp Fiction, Wonder Woman and IT.

North Leeds Food Festival
A family-friendly foodie bonanza? Yes please! The best street food vendors from across the UK are planning on taking over Roundhay Park for North Leeds Food Festival. There’ll be whopping burgers, gooey grilled cheeses and even more to snaffle. You can also catch live cookery demonstrations and pick up local gems at the artisan market. Just add live entertainment and you’re onto a real winner.

Brutus Gold’s Love Train
It’s time to dust off your glad rags and get your groove on because Brutus Gold’s Love Train is back. The open air party will transform Millennium Square into a disco wonderland. You’ll get to dance the night away to classics from ABBA, Bee Gees and Sister Sledge, all while Brutus Gold and friends host hilarious dance offs and crazy competitions on stage.

Leeds International Beer Festival
It’s back! Leeds International Beer Festival is taking over Leeds Town Hall for the ninth time this September. It’s one of the biggest events of the year for local beer lovers, with hundreds of brews on tap to sample. Expect Yorkshire favourites from the likes of North Brewing Co and Magic Rock alongside global lagers and ales. There’ll be street food, arcade games and live bands to boot.
