On Wednesday 16th October 2019, Brassiere Blanc will be transformed into a bustling Parisian club, complete with live music and gin cocktails…
Calling all opera virgins, this is your chance to dip your toe in the water with a night of laidback Parisian music at Brasserie Blanc. Of course, you can’t visit one of the city’s finest French restaurants without eating, so we’ll be serving a delectable 3-course menu with a palate-cleansing Elderflower Collins – and all for just £30! What are you waiting for? Synchronise your diaries and book your tickets before they sell out!
Escape to ‘Paris’ for a night of French classics
Step inside and let us transport you to the bustling clubs and cafés of early-60s Paris for a night of utter escapism. It’s inspired by one of the world’s greatest love stories, La bohéme, but this isn’t an opera – it’s a night of whimsical tunes and romantic arias that will whisk you away from the humdrum of daily commutes and inbox pings.
Sit back and let the music wash over you as Bibi and Milos play through some of the most famous songs ever written. Armed with an accordion and Bibi’s killer vocals, they’ll introduce you to Puccini, Strauss and legendary French songstress Edith Piaf. These are songs you know, songs you’ve heard a hundred times, and they’ll be played live, metres away from your table.
Enjoy a 3-course dinner and a scrumptious gin cocktail
The music isn’t the only thing you have to look forward to. As you arrive, you’ll be given an Elderflower Collins, made with a refreshing mix of Hendrick’s Gin, elderflower cordial, fresh lemon juice and soda. Take a seat and sup your drink while you wait for the first of three delicious courses to arrive.
There are three options for every course, including a vegan option. Start with chicken liver parfait, Indian spiced samosas or lightly smoked salmon, before moving onto the main event. There’s moules frites, of course, and duck leg confit with blackberries too – you can even get a grilled cauliflower steak with truffle cream, sweet potato wedges and buttered green beans. For dessert, it’s got to be chocolate indulgence, right? Chocolate-orange mousse, chocolate ice cream, chocolate-almond crumb, chocolate flake – miam miam! They have sticky toffee pudding too, and a Bramley apple & pear crumble that can be made vegan.
