East 59th

This winter, Opera North will present three Italian blockbusters, as their Fatal Passions season brings together Madama Butterfly, Un ballo in maschera and Don Giovanni. Book your tickets now...

Opera North has done it again. They’ve turned Mozart’s 3-hour epic, Don Giovanni, into a quick-fire opera full of twists and turns…

Not content to stay in the theatre, Opera North will take over East 59th on Thursday 15th February 2018 for a night of live music, scrumptious food and delectable tipples. This is your chance to see the story of serial womaniser, Don Giovanni, played out before you in an intimate space. You’ll never be closer to the action as their singers weave their way among the tables in a one-off performance that will blow you away.

Treat yourself to a night at the opera in a whole new setting

This is a very different version of Don Giovanni to the one you’ll see on the Leeds Grand Theatre stage. It features just three singers and they’ll be accompanied by an accordion player. It’s a stripped back version of Mozart’s darkest, craziest opera, with all the best songs pulled together in a fast-paced and ever-entertaining performance.

Enjoy a 3-course dinner & a drink for just £25

This isn’t just a night at the opera. It’ll take place at East 59th, where you’ll be treated to a 3-course dinner. You’ll be one of the first to try their brand new menu – start with the likes of Salmon Tartar and Seared Beef Crudo before moving on to their famous Cheeseburger, or maybe even a Flat Iron Steak. And to finish? You can indulge in Cheesecake or end the night in style with a Knickerbocker Glory.

To wash down your dinner, you’ll get a pint of beer, a glass of house wine or a cheeky prosecco. And it’s happy hour 5pm to 8pm, so you can get two cocktails for £10, with a glass of beer, house wine or prosecco for £4. It’s going to be a fabulous night out!
