Leeds-List: The Best & Most Insightful Guide to Leeds

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is the hilarious adventure of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus bound for the Outback to put on the show of a lifetime. With more glitter than ever before and a non-stop parade of dance-floor classics, it’s a must-see. Book now.

This isn’t just all singing, all dancing – Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is all glitz and all glamour too!

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is one of the craziest, campest and most outrageous films ever made, so you can imagine our excitement when we heard that a brand new musical production is coming to Bradford this September. Former star Jason Donovan is taking on producing duties in what promises to be a wildly funny night of entertainment – and you can see it at Alhambra Theatre for just £15.

Glitzy frocks, overblown campness and toe-tapping tunes – what’s not to love?

The story is simple – two outrageously camp drag queens and one impossibly glamorous transgender performer take off on a raucous road trip through the Australian desert. This is a journey of self-discovery and acceptance, but it’s not all plain sailing. From backwater haters to the breakdown of their beloved tour bus Priscilla, they tackle the hard stuff – and they do it with sass.

Starring Strictly Come Dancing winner Joe McFadden as Tick, Laurence Olivier Award winner Miles Western as Bernadette and West End heartthrob Nick Hayes as Felicia, this is your chance to see the transformation of a lifetime, as they bring more glitter, more sequins and more feathers than ever. And let’s not forget the happy-go-lucky soundtrack of dance-floor hits, including ‘It’s Raining Men’, ‘Hot Stuff’ and ‘I Will Survive’.
