Enjoy a Peaky Blinders day at Wetherby Races

Wetherby Racecourse

By order of the Peaky Blinders, your presence will be requested at Wetherby Racecourse on Saturday 16th November 2019. You can enjoy an exciting day of jump racing, including the CIU Annual Charity Race. Don your finest 1920s Peaky Blinders fancy dress and look your best for the Peaky Group Photo and the Best Peaky Competition.

On the day, you’ll get access to the Premier Enclosure, a hot roast roll with a drink, a free £4 bet and a racecard. There’s loads of post-race entertainment too. Toast your luck, good or bad, on the horses as The LA Jazz Band play classic tunes from the 1920s and the Blackmarcs run through indie tunes with a Peaky Blinders twist. You can even enjoy another flutter with Sam the Scam in his Bunko Booth – heads he wins, tails you lose.

Go on a tour of The Emmerdale Studio Experience

Emmerdale Studio Experience

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to have a pint in The Woolpack or help out on the Dingle’s farm, you’re going to love this because we’re giving away two passes for The Emmerdale Studio Experience. You’ll start at the famous Burley Road Studios where you can tour working and replica sets, discover industry secrets and get an inside look at how they come up with those gripping storylines.

From there, they’ll whisk you off to the ITV Television Centre on a free shuttle bus, so you can see even more working sets. Along the way, you’ll get a professional photo op on the most iconic sofa in soapland and look through authentic props and costumes. The tour will finish in the gift shop where you’ll get a complimentary David’s Shop bag before you finish in the cafe.

Tuck into a Sunday roast and go on a brewery tour

Kirkstall Bridge

The Kirkstall Bridge Inn is a throwback of a pub where you can get quality real ale and a cracking Sunday lunch. Their roast dinners are legendary with a choice of three meats served with all the trimmings (don’t worry, they’ve got veggies covered too). You can try it for yourself with dinner for two washed down with a pint of Kirkstall Brewery’s finest beer.

Not only will you get a decent feed, but you can also see where the beer is made. Jump on the bus and hop off at their beloved brewery on Kirkstall Road. This is where they make favourites like Kirkstall Pale, Three Swords and Dissolution IPA. Wander round, learn their secrets, then ask the brewer all those burning questions before you try out their wares.
