Biomedical Science

Leeds Trinity’s Biomedical Science degree is accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), giving you the confidence that the course is both industry-approved and career-focused. You’ll gain a strong foundation in areas such as cell biology, pharmacology and molecular diagnostics, while developing essential lab skills in state-of-the-art facilities.

But what really sets the course apart is the hands-on experience you’ll gain – from interprofessional projects to a unique Employer Challenge provided by local employers such as the NHS and industry partners, you’ll be well prepared for roles in healthcare, research and beyond.

Games Design

Do you want to embark on a career in the UK’s biggest entertainment industry? Leeds Trinity’s Games Design course will put you at the heart of the action. Developed with games employers, the course will equip you with the creative, technical and storytelling skills you need to thrive in a sector that spans consoles, VR, mobile and more.

You’ll learn how to design characters, environments and interactive worlds using 2D/3D software and industry-standard engines, while building up your portfolio through live briefs, employer commissions and professional placements with major studios.

Psychology (Specialist Pathways)

Launching in 2026, Leeds Trinity’s BSc (Hons) Psychology (Specialist Pathways) offers you something that few unis can – the chance to specialise from day one. Whether your passion lies in forensic, sport, counselling, education, health or occupational psychology, you’ll graduate with a degree that’s tailored to your future.

Accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), the course sets you on the path to becoming a Chartered Psychologist. With no exams, small class sizes, employer challenges and hands-on experience in specialist labs, you’ll gain the skills, confidence and contacts to make a difference.

Primary Education

If you dream of inspiring the next generation, Leeds Trinity’s Primary Education degrees give you everything you need to succeed in the classroom. Whether you choose to specialise in early years (3-7) or later years (5-11), you’ll be recommended for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) on successful completion of the course, ready to start your career.

Criminology

Dig into the world of crime, justice and investigation with LTU’s Criminology, Investigation and Policing degrees. Taught from purpose-built facilities at the City Campus, you’ll get to make use of a fully-equipped custody suite, professional interview rooms and an authentic courtroom.

On top of studying topics like crime and culture and policing communities, you’ll take part in placements, volunteering and unique real-word projects, like the MISSPER cold case unit – an LTU initiative which sees students work on real life missing person cases.

Law

Leeds Trinity’s Law LLB course sees you study Law in the heart of Leeds, just minutes from the city’s legal quarter. Taught from the City Campus, you’ll gain access to new facilities including a moot courtroom, custody suite and the Law Clinic Hub, where you can hone your knowledge and skills by advising real people facing real legal problems.
