Hope Pastures

Hope Pastures is an equine rescue facility, so if your kiddo loves horses, having a children’s party here might just make their year. You also know that the party fees will go to a good cause. Numbers are limited to six, but you get two hours of pony-based fun. The whole party will get to play pony-themed games and activities, before meeting the animals themselves, where they’ll carefully brush and plait their manes. The birthday boy or girl will get a free adoption too, so they’ll get a letter and a special photo from their pony.

Bramley Baths

If there’s a pool in Leeds to hold your kids’ parties in, it’s Bramley Baths. It’s a community-run, Edwardian bath house, and it’s loads of fun. For under-eights, you can fill the pool with floats for the kids for splash about with – you can have up to 40 children, but for every two you need an adult to supervise. For older sprogs up to the age of 14 and who are confident swimmers (that means no armbands), there’s the inflatable assault course for them to clamber over, slide off and jump on to.

LS-TEN Skate Park

Got a little skateboarder on your hands? Then LS-TEN’s skatepark is the perfect place to celebrate their birthday. They could be practicing their flips, learning tricks or just get coaching on their balance – the skate park is yours for two whole hours. Food is provided for an extra cost, think classic buffet-style hot dogs, burgers, chicken nuggets and juice. You can have up to 30 people in the park at once, so nervous parents can come along too – they can even have a go themselves as there’s equipment hire on site!

TeamSport Go Karting

Make their birthday one to remember with a speedy racing session. At TeamSport’s go-karting track they’ll be whizzing round corners, speeding down straights and lapping each other to their heart’s content. A group of ten kids aged eight to 12 get exclusive use of the track, where they have 15 minutes to practice and 15 minutes for the competitive race. The top three are then awarded their trophies on the podium! Getting hungry? Head to the party room for kid-friendly eats from the cafe.

The Park Playground is one of the coolest places in Leeds for a children’s party. It’s a dedicated virtual reality arena, where you can tap into another dimension and head off on an adventure like no other, completing thrilling quests with your own body. Each child will have a 30-minute long go, plus 30 minutes of VR mini-games. There are six games to choose from – The Snitch is suitable for ages 9 and above, while Mission Planet is for ages 12 plus. There are 32 climbing lines, from Dry Ice, a winter-themed wall where you use pegs to climb, to Stairway to Heaven, where you have to jump from post to post. Their experienced staff will keep everyone safe and happy while they climb, so there’s no need to worry about nervous kids. Hungry? Food is prepared fresh on site, and it’s delicious. Think gooey cheese pizzas and fresh veggies to munch on – no one will be leaving hungry.

At Swithens Farm, the kids get to run wild on the play frame for an hour, scoff a load of hot or cold party food afterwards and then they get a bag of carrots to feed the animals with. We’re talking goats, pigs, cows, chickens, donkeys – you even get to say hello to meerkats and llamas too! Has your little one got a head for heights? Driftstop

Book a children’s birthday party at Driftstop in Leeds and you can look forward to 30 minutes of adrenaline-packed racing around their indoor drift-karting track. After all that excitement, you’ll head up to the party pod for an hour, where the kids can tuck into pizza and chips before devouring bowls of ice cream. The birthday girl or boy will even get a slush on the house and a half-price voucher for their next session, plus there’ll be unlimited squash and water for all children throughout the party.

Little Burrowers is the perfect place for kids parties for under-fours. They have two rooms to choose from – the play village, where kids can pretend to be firefighters, hairdressers or vets, and the baby sensory room, ideal for the really tiny tots. You’ll get two hours of exclusive use of the room, plus a party snack box for each child, unlimited juice, banners and balloons. You can have up to 10 children partying, and adults can hang out in the view-side cafe or, for an additional cost, they’ll cater for you too.

Jackaboos is a kids soft play centre in Sunny Bank Mills. There’s one central play frame, with three levels just begging to be explored. Kids can get up to all sorts of mischief, from jumping on trampolines and diving into ball pits to careening down slides. Make it a celebration by booking the whole thing out for your exclusive use. You can invite up to 30 children and have at it for 90 minutes – you can either pay a fixed price for the whole venue and cater the party yourself or pay per child for a party host and food.

Planet Ice
Skate your way to a successful birthday party and a happy birthday boy or girl with a kids party at Planet Ice. It’s Leeds’ ice rink and their kids parties are Beano themed! You get an hour on the ice (skate hire is provided), before heading to the Beano party room for some delicious grub. Little one not a skater? The birthday kid gets a free skate lesson so they’ll feel confident on the ice. They also provide skating aids! You and three other parents get to sip on a hot drink as you watch the action.

If you want to wear out the children with an epic birthday party in Leeds, then it has to be LaserZone.
