The Mexican Pilgrim whip up one of the best burritos in town and you can get yours stuffed-to-bursting with a tempting array of fillings from sliced avocado to shredded pork. The latter is particularly tasty, cooked low and slow with red wine and chipotle BBQ sauce for a deliciously sweet ’n’ smoky taste.

Crisp pastry, succulent beef and oh-so-rich gravy… sound tempting? Make a beeline for The Hop and order their Steak & Ale Pie. This perfectly formed delicacy comes courtesy of the folk at Coopers Foods and it’s absolutely packed with thick chunks of steak. Sink your knife into the golden crust and floods of gravy will ooze out. Just add mash, minted peas and even more gravy for a proper hearty feed that goes down perfectly with a pint of Ossett Brewery beer.

If you’re in the mood for a real lunchtime pig-out, Patty Smith’s Big Ron is just the ticket. The fully-loaded burger comes with two irresistibly juicy Yorkshire steak mince patties for you to wrap your chops around. But that’s just the start because this drool-worthy treat is also packed with oozing cheddar cheese, beefy vine tomatoes, fresh gem lettuce and crunchy dill pickles. Topped off with lashings of smoky chipotle mayo and sandwiched in a soft brioche bun, it makes for one downright dirty feast.
