Knave’s Kitchen is no stranger to creating ambitious vegan grub, so it’ll come as no surprise that their Jerk and Palm is one of the city’s stand-out veggie dishes. It’s a warming bowl of creamy Jamaican curry, served on a bed of aromatic coconut rice, but the jerked jackfruit is the star here. It’s deliciously tangy but surprisingly meaty, adding an extra pop of flavour into each mouthful. To top it off, they add a little sweetness with a sticky plantain skewer on the side.
