Whether you’re celebrating a big occasion or just fancy a good ol’ sing-song, round up your mates and get ready for an incredible night out.

Mix Karaoke

Mix Karaoke is the only place in Leeds that’s completely dedicated to karaoke. You’ve got two options here. You can head to their main karaoke lounge which is open to everyone – jump on stage to sing your favourite song for absolutely free with a huge catalogue of hits to choose from. Want something a little more private? Book one of their 7 party themed rooms, like the glitzy Hong Kong Hotspot or the dance-friendly Mirror Mirror room. They’re perfect for special occasions, with a range of offers and packages tailored to suit you.

Mix Karaoke, 28 New Briggate, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 6NU.

Tiger Tiger

Karaoke at Tiger Tiger, Lucky Voice

Don’t like singing in front of people you don’t know? Get down to Tiger Tiger. You can book one of their private karaoke pods at Lucky Voice – choose from over 8,000 tracks in their plush rooms, which are decked out with a big flat screen TV and red leather booths. Whether you’re out celebrating with friends, impressing colleagues or just want to show off that belting voice, this is the place to go. And if you book ahead, you can get a decent food and drink package too.

Tiger Tiger, The Light, 117 Albion Street, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS2 8DY.

Bierkeller

Bierkeller, Leeds

Bierkeller does karaoke a bit differently in their underground venue. From 8pm every Tuesday they put on their Rock ’n’ Roll Bingo & Karaoke night. First up is the bingo – they’ve replaced the traditional numbers with songs and you can win prizes if you get them all. In between each round, they invite you on stage to sing a version of your favourite song, or you can just wait until the bingo’s over to get up and show off your best Elton John or Diana Ross.

Bierkeller, 1 South Parade, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 5QL.

Viaduct Showbar

Viaduct Showbar

Want to glam up your Tuesday night? Get down to Viaduct Showbar, the city’s number one drag bar, for Cash Karaoke with Connie Mae. She’s their no-nonsense karaoke leader and she’ll give you the chance to win £30 if you have the cojones to get up on stage and sing a song or two. You’ll get a free shot every time you sing, which will certainly help with the stage fright, and they have an eclectic list of pop anthems for you to choose from.

Viaduct Showbar, 11 Lower Briggate, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 6ER.

The Bridge Inn

The Bridge Inn is one of the longest running LGBT bars in Leeds and by gosh, they absolutely love a karaoke night – in fact, they have three. Judy & Leroy present Karaoke Jokey on Thursday nights where the songs are light-hearted, talent is unnecessary and shots just keep coming. Or you can pop along on Saturday and Sunday evenings for Early Doors Karaoke with Marky Mark Scott – any song goes as long as they’ve got it, and it helps raise money for St Gemma’s Hospice to boot.

The Bridge Inn, 1-5 Bridge End, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 7HG.

The Skyrack

The Skyrack, The Otley Run

You’ll have to leave the city centre and go to Headingley for The Skyrack’s karaoke evening, but trust us when we say it’s worth it. It’s a popular pub with the student masses – expect cask ales, spirits and pub grub. But it comes alive on a Sunday night with their immensely popular karaoke night. It’s free and kicks off from 8pm with a mix of classic tunes everyone knows, like Dexy’s ‘Come On Eileen’ to modern numbers like Taylor Swift’s ’22’.

The Skyrack, 2 St Michael’s Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS6 3AW.

The Three Legs

If you walk past The Three Legs from 4pm every day, you can usually hear one of their regulars belting out a classic tune or two, so if you can’t get enough karaoke, this is the place to go. Don’t expect a modern, hipster joint, this is a down-to-earth pub, but if you want a few cheap ales and a good ol’ fashioned sing-song to a classic tune for free, you won’t be disappointed.

The Three Legs, 11 The Headrow, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 6PU.
