From historic hotels to gothic churches, this is where to hold those large Christmas parties in Leeds…
Christmas. It’s the most wonderful time of the year, unless you’re the one that’s been put in charge of organising this year’s office party, in which case you need to start thinking about it in the middle of summer. And if you work for a big company, it can be a real struggle to find a good venue that can fit everyone in. But fear not, because we’ve done the legwork for you and rounded up the best locations to hold those humungous Christmas parties.
For an unforgettable festival bash, Royal Armouries’ jaw-dropping £350 million dockside location certainly delivers. With 11 separate event spaces for you to choose from, there’s something for everyone. If you’ve outgrown your usual venue, New Dock Hall can seat up to 1,000 banquet-style, while Royal Armouries Hall can accommodate up to 700 people with plenty of elbow room to spare. And once you’re inside, you can choose between buffet style dining or a full banquet service, with dedicated bars on either side. What’s more, if any guests are driving, there’s a big multi-storey car park on site.

If you’re after state of the art sound and lighting options for up to 850 guests, the main room has everything you could possibly need – including their pièce de résistance, the jaw-dropping original stained glass window. For a more intimate Christmas party with up to 500 guests, check out The Chapel, their second room, which is decked out with stunning 17th century gothic architecture.
