Ever wished you had longer to enjoy the bubbles at your favourite bottomless brunch? Want to keep grazing while you drink? Then you’ll love the city’s newest addition. Malmaison has swooped in with a pop-up brunch that gives you unlimited food and unlimited drinks for just £29.95 per person. Mal’s Big Brunch Party is here for just two short months, from Saturday 30th June to Saturday 1st September 2018 – and it’s already selling out.

You can see why – it’s got all our favourite things. For the whole 3-hour session, which runs from 1pm to 4pm, you’ll get bottomless prosecco, G&Ts and bottled beers. But it’s not just unlimited booze, you’ve got food to look forward to as well.

This is an almighty feed. Think of it as a big buffet lunch with as many courses as you want. You’ve got all manner of salads, alongside charcuterie, homemade terrines and an incredible seafood board. So where do you start? You could go for a traditional Caprese or Caesar salad, they’ve got grilled Mediterranean veggies too, but if you want something a little bit different, try the Greek salad. It brings together feta, olives, mint and compressed watermelon for a refreshing kick that will bring out all those lovely flavours.

Gin & Tonic

And that’s not the only unusual option on the menu – they’ve mixed fennel with orange, red onion and watercress, or you could try their intriguing combination of fresh tomatoes with charred pickled cucumber and frozen goat’s cheese. Couple ‘em with their nutrient-packed superfood salad, coleslaw with charred corn and chipotle mayo or the organic potato salad with lemon vinaigrette, sliced red onion and chives.

It’s not all as wonderfully healthy as the salads though. You can get all your picnic favourites here, but they’ve taken them to the next level. From pork and apple sausage rolls to Spanish tortillas with potato and onion, it’s all deliciously decadent – right down to the smoked haddock Scotch eggs with homemade tartar sauce. And if you want to be really naughty, this is a bottomless brunch after all, you can indulge in freshly baked pizzas, smothered in toppings like mushrooms and peppers.

Serrano ham on the bone

Now, let’s talk charcuterie. They’ll be serving Serrano ham on the bone, alongside Picante Chorizo and Salami Milano. Load your plate with sun-blushed tomatoes, pickled balsamic onions, capers and artisan bread to create the ultimate charcuterie board. Want more? You can help yourself to their homemade pork and prune terrine, flavoured with brandy, thyme, juniper and Ayrshire bacon – or try the chicken and leek terrine with mushrooms, Dijon and tarragon.

They’ve got a fish platter too, where you can pick up your choice of hot or cold smoked salmon, as well as mackerel pate, green-lip mussels with diced peppers and Icelandic prawns. Hell, they even have a DIY prawn cocktail station. You can throw in baby gem lettuce, diced avocado and grapefruit segments before topping it all with prawns and Marie Rose. All their seafood comes from M&J, a company that’s been championing responsible fishing for over 40 years, so you can tuck in with confidence.

Of course, we’ve saved the best ’til last, because there’s also going to be a crépe station. This is the dream – they’ll have a professional chef cooking up a constant stream of fresh crépes. Come back as often as you want, eat as many as you want and experiment with toppings like chocolate and banana or sugar and lemon.

Mal’s Big Brunch Party will take over Chez Mal, so expect refined luxury with a few surprises, like the live sax player who’ll be playing alongside the DJ. They’re going for laid-back party vibes, which means this is the perfect place to kick back and relax, but if you’ve got a big one planned – it can just as easily be a bottomless warm up to your night out on the town.

What’s perhaps most surprising about this latest bottomless brunch is the price – you get unlimited food and unlimited drinks for the whole three hours and all for just £29.95. So don’t dilly dally, book it now before they sell out – and maybe, just maybe, they’ll make it a permanent fixture.

Mal’s Big Brunch Party runs every Saturday from Saturday 30th June to Saturday 1st September 2018 at Chez Mal. Tickets are £29.95 and include unlimited food and drink for three hours.
