Yuzu Tart

This isn’t just dinner, it’s a fine dining experience. Your server will introduce you to each dish, so you know why it works so wonderfully. Dinner begins with a wild mushroom velouté flavoured with ceps, goats curd and just a hint of tarragon. It’s deliciously rich, but the acidity of the goats curd cuts through it to create the perfect balance.

Next up is the Scottish salmon. It’s cured in salt and sugar, blitzed with dill and served in the shape of a rose, but the wow factor isn’t just in the presentation, the flavour profile is just as impressive. Homemade horseradish gherkins cut through the richness of the fish and roasted beetroot purée adds a subtle earthy quality to proceedings. Just wait until you try it!

As you hit the mid-point of your meal, you’ll come to the pork cheek. It’s cooked low and slow, then smothered in a sticky soy and honey glaze. The result? A beautifully tender piece of meat that just melts in your mouth. It’s paired roasted pumpkin and an extraordinary crumble made with pumpkin seeds, so you have a wonderful mix of flavours and textures.

Pudding comes in two parts. First, you’ll devour a citrus tart made with yuzu and sweet pâte sucrée pastry, then you’ll finish with their signature choux. These soft pastry buns are filled with chocolate cream, then topped with a rich glaze, roasted hazelnuts and edible flowers. It’s the perfect end to the perfect night – but if you want to take it to the next level, you can always add one of their personalised wine pairings for £20 per person.

This offer entitles you to a 5-course chef's tasting menu with a glass of prosecco for £35 from Monday 6th January to Wednesday 12th February 2020. It's available for lunch from Tuesday to Saturday and for dinner from Monday to Saturday. Lunch service runs from 12pm to 2:30pm, dinner runs from 5pm to 9pm. Once you've paid, you can book your table at the restaurant for a convenient time on your chosen day. Maximum of 8 people per table booking. Availability is limited and tables will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re unable to get a table at your desired time, and an alternative is not available, you’ll be given a full refund. Refunds may take up to 28 days to process and must be claimed before 12th February 2020. To request a refund, please contact Crafthouse directly. Menu may be subject to change, please check with your server. The name of the booking must be the same as on the voucher, and if not, it needs to be mentioned at the time of the booking.
