Challenging what folk expect from a BBQ restaurant is exactly what Bulgogi Grill do best. It’s Leeds’ only Korean barbecue restaurant – every table has a built-in grill where you can cook up a medley of marinated meats and seafoods, before wrapping it up in a lettuce leaf with rice, sauces and sides. It’s not just about the food at Bulgogi, it’s about the experience – and you’re going to love it.

Fazenda is the most famous Brazilian BBQ restaurant in Leeds. They cook up a delicious array of meats on their open churrasco BBQ – steak is the order of the day, with cuts like beef tenderloin, cap of rump, sirloin and skirt, all served at your table. But that’s not all they have on offer. You can also enjoy gammon with pineapple, honey and cinnamon pork collar, chicken hearts and spicy chorizo, as well as helping yourself at the salad bar. This is barbecue done the Brazilian way, and it’s absolutely scrumptious.

For something entirely different, try Caracas. It’s the only Venezuelan BBQ restaurant in Leeds and it promises a carnivorous feast you’ll want to come back for. You’ve got two options here – Parrillas or Galipan Baguettes. The first is a loaded plate of steak, chicken or sausage, piled high with your choice of sides, while the latter promises the same thing, this time stuffed into a baguette. It’s simple, filling food, done well.
