Who’s Delivering Beer, Wine & Cocktails in Leeds in the Midst of This Crisis?

Caspar's Bottle Shop

You don’t have to go without your favourite brews in the lockdown, because these places in Leeds will deliver them straight to your door.

Almost all of the city’s drinking establishments have closed their doors, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be deprived of their goods. By following social distancing guidelines, many of them are now open for contactless home deliveries. Not only does this mean you can enjoy all your favourite tipples at home, it also means you can support local breweries and independents, so it’s a win-win.

North Brewing Co.

North Brewing Co. Alongside their nationwide webshop, North Brewing Co. is offering free local delivery. This means if you live within three miles of the brewery, you can get a minimum of 12 cans delivered to your doorstep. They also have cans of prosecco and gin & tonic. Oh, and NHS workers get a 20% discount. You can order by calling 0113 3453 290 or emailing sales@northbrewing.com.

Wapentake. From bar to takeaway drinks service, Wapentake has taken it upon themselves to keep to fine folk of Leeds stocked up in craft beer. Their selection is ever-changing, but you can expect five-litre bag-in-a-box beers, cans, bottles of wine, gin and even ground coffee. Their deliveries come on Thursdays and Fridays and they cover most Leeds postcodes. You can order by sending them a direct message on Facebook or Instagram.

Caspar’s Bottle Shop. This Chapel Allerton bottle shop is offering a free local delivery service for a limited time only – tell them what you like and they’ll put together a special package for you. You can order by messaging them on Facebook. No delivery fee for home orders but it’s a £20 minimum spend. The shop will be open for collections from 12:30pm to 6pm, Wednesday to Saturday with a one person in, one person out policy.


The Manor Inn. This Pudsey watering hole is now doing contactless deliveries, so you can get 5-litre containers of proper Yorkshire beer to enjoy at home. They’re £25 each, delivery is free across Leeds and you can usually get them the same day. You can order with a direct message on Facebook, easy peasy.

Ridgeside Brewery. The online shop has been so popular that they’ve completely sold out, but they’re brewing up a new batch and will restock as soon as possible, so keep your eyes peeled. Fill your fridge with cans or get one of their 72-pint casks. You can order from their new webshop. There is no minimum spend, orders are delivered contactless locally and through UPS nationally.

Wayward Wines. The online shop is full of hand-picked wines from independent vinyards in 14 different countries. Whether you prefer red, sparkling or fortified wines, they’ll have something to fit the bill. They’ll deliver bottles direct to your door contact-free. Their stock is changing all the time, so keep checking back. You can order from their website. Free delivery with a minimum spend of £30 for households with LS2 to LS8 and of £95 for the rest of the UK.

Little Leeds Beerhouse. Their webshop is full of eclectic beers. They deliver all over the UK and offer free delivery if you live within a 3.5-mile radius of the shop. You can get craft beer cans by the likes of Cloudwater, Northern Monk and Deya, as well as hard-to-get ales from all over the world.

Wilde Child Brewing Co. The online shop is live and their contactless deliveries are go. There’s a £35 minimum order for LS1 to LS18 postcodes, a £40 minimum order for LS19 to LS28 postcodes and a £45 minimum order for LS29 postcodes. Orders must be placed by 12pm on Wednesday to guarantee same week delivery.

The Curious Hop. An Otley institution that’s now delivering, The Curious Hop is well stocked in UK and international brews. They’re offering free local delivery, but if you’d rather click and collect, you can pick up your purchases at the store from 11am to 6am, Wednesday to Saturday. You can order from their online shop or by calling 01943 851353. Delivery fees apply as normal unless you spend over £15 and live in Otley, Menston, Burley in Wharfedale, Guiseley or Ilkley.

Nomadic Beers

Nomadic Beers. The webshop is open and Nomadic Bees are delivering direct to your door. Their tasty wares come in the form of bag-in-box beers with three-litre and five-litre sizes available. They restock weekly, sell out fast and only have a limited delivery run – in other words, get in there early. You can order from their new webshop.

Piglove Brewing Co. The online shop has beers, an easy-drinking IPA and a full-bodied stout. If you live in Leeds and Wakefield, you get free delivery, but they can also deliver to Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees for an extra fee. You can order online. If you live outside Leeds or Wakefield, you need to email sales@piglovebrewing.com to arrange a special delivery. There’s a minimum order of 12 cans. 

Northern Monk. You can get your craft beer fix from Northern Monk’s online shop. They ship all over the UK, so no one has to miss out on their array of delicious brews. You can order from their online shop and they’ve waived their usual maximum order, so you can buy as much beer as you want. Delivery starts from £5.95.

Horsforth Brewery

Horsforth Brewery. Now delivering from their online shop, Horsforth Brewery has been over-run with orders. Get your orders in quick, as stock is limited. They have bottles and bag-in-box beers. Deliveries are available to anyone with an LS18, LS16 and LS28 postcode and there’s no minimum order. You can order from their online shop. Delivery is £3.45.

Latitude Wine. You can get pretty much whatever you’re looking for. They sell bottles of wine from all over the world, as well as craft beer and spirits. Anyone with an LS postcode can get free delivery on orders over £50. You can order through their webshop, by emailing info@latitudewine.co.uk or by calling 0113 245 3393.

The Hoptimist. A little local bottle shop with an outstanding collection of craft beer and gin from around the world, The Hoptimist is a worthy contender for your next booze order. They’re based in Guiseley, and the shop is open Thursday to Saturday, but they’re also offering local deliveries on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Their order form is available to download on their website – just fill it out send it to thehoptimist1@gmail.com. You can pay by bank transfer.


Vinceremos. Tucked away on Sovereign Street, Vinceremos does a roaring trade in organic wines, beers and spirits. They’re 100% veggie-friendly, in fact, 97% of their products are suitable for vegans. Their cases are delivered by courier direct from the warehouse. They’re offering free doorstep deliveries to LS postcodes on orders over £60, but they also do a national delivery service. You can order online.

Delivery costs £11.95 for orders under £50 or £6.95 for orders over £50 – it’s free if you spend £200 or more.

Terminus Tap Room & Bottle Shop. After a brief hiatus, Terminus Tap Room & Bottle Shop has reopened for deliveries, so you can get your favourite brews delivered to your door. They have an almighty selection, including a 5-litre bag-in-a-box of Crambazzled, Black Goddess or Herald. Local delivery is free and they’re giving away all sorts of goodies if you spend £50 or more. You can order on their new webshop. The minimum order value is £25. Free local deliveries.

Ilkley Brewery. Fear not! Ilkley Brewery is still brewing. The webshop is open for business and packed with all your favourite brews – Mary Jane, Blonde and Pale mingle with Lotus, Crossroads and Hendrix. They’re also giving you a chance to give something back to key workers with their NHS Tokens. You can order online, pay by Paypal and your orders should arrive in two working days.

Beer Ritz

Beer Ritz. It’s business as usual for Beer Ritz. As the longest-established bottle shop in the UK, they weren’t going to let a little thing like lockdown get in their way. You can get the very best local beers alongside brews from around the world, as well as wine, spirits and soft drinks. Order online, delivery is £8.99 for the first 20 kilograms, then 40p for every extra kilo after that.

Martinez wines. This little independent has come through for locals in the coronavirus crisis. They’re continuing deliveries, both locally and across the UK, so you can fill your makeshift wine cellars. You can order online. Minimum order value of £50. Local delivery to selected postcodes is free, addresses beyond those points, which include some LS postcodes, are £6.99.

Raynville Superstore. With a mind-boggling array of beer, wine and spirits, Raynville is a wonderland of booze. They’re open as usual and they have over 900 beers for you to choose from, so you’ll be absolutely spoilt for choice. You can order online, they deliver all over the UK and it’s free if you spend £75.

Once Upon a Vine. Horsforth favourite Once Upon a Vine is still open. You can visit from 11am to 6pm Tuesday to Saturday and from 12pm to 5pm on Sundays. They’re also operating a delivery service – email your orders to info@onceuponavineonline.com or call 0113 2582 037. You can get free local delivery on all orders over £50.

Kirkstall Brewery. Damn but Kirkstall is popular. Their webshop is stocked and sold out at breakneck speed, so keep your eyes peeled and don’t dilly dally. Order before 5pm to get all your favourites, delivered next day to any LS postcode. There’s a £40 minimum order. NHS workers get 20% off with code VIRTUOUSNHS. You can order online.

Tailors. This little Grand Arcade bar has gone online, so if you’re short on gin, you can stock up your cupboard with their own recipe, small batch blend. They’re offering a free ‘knock n drop’ service in Leeds or you can collect your order from the bar. You can order online.

Roland’s. Once a home from home, Roland’s in now the key to stocking your own home bar. They’re selling beer, G&T kits and pre-made bottled cocktails. Order on their website, choose a delivery or collection date and pay online – it’s that easy.

Jim’s Bottle Shop. Another Horsforth favourite, Jim’s Bottle Shop is open for doorstep deliveries. You can get all manner of beer, as well as North Star coffee from fellow indie Woodlawn. They even have snacks. Order online before 2:30pm for same-day delivery.

Stew & Oyster. Everything you love about the Stew & Oyster is now available from home. You can get hearty stews served with freshly poured beer, straight from the taps. They also have spirit and mixer combos. You can click and collect your order or get it delivered to any LS7, LS8 or LS17 postcode.

Anthology Brewing Co.

Eat Your Greens. You can get beer, cider, wine and spirits, all delivered to your door from the new Eat Your Greens online shop. With 1-litre growlers alongside hand-picked bottles, it’s an easy win. Order online before midnight on Thursday for collections and deliveries on Friday.

Anthology. Leeds’ very own Anthology Brewing Co. is back on the map with a 1-litre bottle delivery service. For now, you can choose from four beer – New England Session Pale, Sicilian Lemon Pale, Dry Irish Stout and their IPA. There’s a minimum order of four bottles, email info@anthologybrewing.co.uk to place your order. Order must be placed by10pm the day before delivery. Limited availability, get in there quick.
