As the festive season tip-toes closer, we’re giving you the chance to win a delicious feast and a hamper to take home…
Harvey Nichols comes into its own at Christmas. Step inside and you’ll find yourself in a festive wonderland where long days of shopping give way to leisurely drinks and luxurious dinners. This year sees the return of their famous hampers, each packed with a selection of delicious goodies, and they’ve just launched their new festive menu – it’s traditional, yet refined, exactly what you’d expect of Harvey Nichols.
Sit down to an incredible 6-course tasting menu & drinks pairing in the Fourth Floor Brasserie
Harvey Nichols’ Fourth Floor Brasserie will be serving an exquisite 6-course tasting menu on Thursday 29th November 2018 for £50 per person. Expect artful dishes that showcase the creativity of Head Chef Lee Heptinstall. You’ll start with charred mackerel, beetroot and horseradish, paired with The King’s Royal, a festive mix of King’s Ginger, Champagne and cinnamon.
Next up is a double-whammy of spiced butternut squash mousse with savoury granola followed by roasted salt cod, fennel and herb salad with bouillabaisse sauce. They’re complemented by a classic Mai Tai. But we’re only halfway through. You still have the braised ox cheek with vanilla mash, roasted carrots and red wine jus to look forward to, as well as grilled truffler cheese with muesli croute and apple chutney – both served alongside a Pineapple Daiquiri. Finally, finish the night on a high with a passionfruit cheesecake served with mango sorbet and a Chocolate Sazerac.
Make Christmas extra special with one of Harvey Nichols’ hampers
Whether you’re stocking up for the festive season or shopping for the perfect gift, you can’t go wrong with Harvey Nichols’ famous hampers. We’re giving you a choice of two and they’re both filled with delicious treats.
If you go for Fancy Trimmings, you’ll get a bottle of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene NV to pop open on Christmas morning and another of mulled wine for those cold winter nights. But that’s just the beginning. You can tuck into Christmas pudding and a trio of cakes, topped with brandy butter, or treat your guests to pecorino and hazelnut nibbles while you’re entertaining. There’s cranberry sauce too, for the perfect Christmas dinner, and milk chocolate truffles to end the night on.
Alternatively, you could go with Season’s Eatings. This one’s tee-total and loaded with goodies. There’s Christmas tea to ease you into the day and non-alcoholic Chardonnay to raise a glass with over lunch. Got a sweet tooth? You can enjoy a classic, but booze-free, Christmas pudding, along with Pandorino, white chocolate Florentine creams and salted caramel truffles. If you’ve got guests coming, you can set the tone with a Christmas pudding candle, before putting on an almighty spread with fig biscuits, cheddar cheese nibbles and quince fruits to compliment your cheese board. You can even fill your stockings with a bag of chocolate coins.
