It’s the city’s latest opening, a new American smokehouse with a late-night bar that will see you through to the early hours – and we’re giving you the chance to check it out for yourself.
Smokin’ Bar & Kitchen has just opened up on Park Row and it’s doing something a little bit different. Not only can you tuck into fall-off-the-bone meat, cooked low and slow, but they’ve made sure the party will keep going into the early hours. On a weekend, their DJs take to the decks – but they’re not alone, they have live saxophonists and percussion on rotation to get you moving, and the atmosphere is absolutely buzzing. But don’t take our word for it, check it out for yourself, because we’re giving you the chance to win a big blowout night this January.
Create your own adventure at the city’s newest bar with £200 to spend
The scene is already set, but what will you be drinking? Well, that’s up to you. If you’re our lucky winner, you’ll bag a £200 bar tab to share with at least four mates – and you can try anything on the menu. They’ve got plenty of craft beers for you to work your way through, with Wolf Rock IPA, Beer Monkey’s Evolution and a little something from Brooklyn Brewery on draught. Fancy cocktails? No problem. Go for a classic Espresso Martini or mix it up with their Steakhouse Tea – it’s a heady mix of dark rum, reposado tequila, sloe gin and bourbon, brought to life with ginger, jalapeño syrup, Pepsi and beef jerky.
And if you want to keep it simple, their spirits are hard to resist. They have their own dedicated gin bar, with 24 different labels for you to choose from and a fridge full of tonics – their bartenders will be only too happy to help you find your perfect G&T combo. Not into gin? Fear not – they’ve got 17 American whiskeys (this is a smokehouse after all), 16 rums and 11 tequilas, so there really is something for everyone. And if you’re missing the festive season bubbly, well hell, why not splash out?
