Fettle has a scrumptious new evening menu and you could try it without putting your hand in your pocket…
It started life as a cafe, but in the three years since it opened, Fettle has become one of our favourite fine dining restaurants. Alongside their usual daytime hours, they’re now open every night except Sunday, so you can stop by for a drink after work or catch up with friends over a few small plates. Everything is made in-house, from the crumpets to the tortellini, and they use the very best seasonal and sustainable ingredients to bring their delectable dishes to life, so you’re in for a real treat.
Round up your mates for an evening of fine dining
If you’re our lucky winner, you’ll bag dinner for 4 at Fettle. Not only can you try their new evening menu, but you’ll have change to spare for their oh-so-scrumptious cocktails because we’re giving away a delicious splurge worth £250. It’s simply too good to miss, so get those entries in quick.
They’ve just launched their new evening menu and it has all the comfort and nostalgia of childhoods past with dishes like bubble and squeak topped with a creamy egg yolk. It’s designed for sharing, so you can get a little bit of everything as you ease your way from bread and miso butter to pork belly with rosemary fudge and rind popcorn – that last one is a must-try, sticky, sweet and oh-so-moreish!
Almost everything on their evening menu is gluten-free and they have a vast array of vegan dishes too, like their homemade crumpets, which come topped with spinach, shallots and Jerusalem artichoke. But if you’re open to anything, you simply have to try the loin of lamb. It’s served perfectly pink with spiced pearl barley, toasted pine nuts and fresh figs.
Of course, you’ll need something to wash it all down, and because Fettle now have a license, you’ll have oodles of options. They’ve joined forces with local bar Wino to bring you a curated list of fine wines, but trust us, the cocktails deserve your attention. They have your usual Negronis and Espresso Martinis alongside signature pours, like After the Fall, a warming winter blend that brings together GlenGrants Speyside Whisky, Pierre Ferrand curaçao, French apéritif Suze, Graham’s white port and orange oils.
