Stockeld Park Estate
When it comes to buying the best Christmas trees in Leeds, you can’t go wrong at Stockeld Park. It’s how the estate, now famous for family-friendly adventures, first opened to the public in 2006, having sold Christmas trees to wholesale for over 100 years. They’re now the biggest tree growers in Yorkshire, with more than 500,000 trees spread across 250 acres, hand-cultivated throughout the year for the best quality branches to hide presents under. Home Farm
Nestled away on Leeds’ enormous Methley Estate, Home Farm has been growing fresh Christmas trees since the first was planted in 1996. Today, there are over 18,000 springing up at any one time, so there’s a smorgasbord of firs to pick from across Norway Spruce, Nordmann Fir and Fraser Fir. Can’t find the one you want in their pre-cut selection? You can cut your own. They even have a decorations shop, filled with stands, holly and wreaths. They’re open daily from 19th November to 18th December 2022 and click & collect is available.

The Arium
As the biggest plant nursery in Leeds, it’s no surprise that The Arium have a massive range of Yorkshire-grown Christmas trees for you to pick yours from. They’re the official partner of Stockeld Park Estate, so they get first dibs on their beautiful Nordmann Fir trees, with sizes ranging from 3 feet to 12 feet. While you’re there, why not pick out some new decorations to make your tree extra special this year from their festive shop? Swillington Organic Farm
Want a real Christmas tree that will last all December long? Swillington Organic Farm has been dispensing real Christmas trees from their festive farm to the great and good of Leeds for years. They’re kept in water from the moment they’re cut to make sure they stay fresh and don’t drop needles. They’re also kept unwrapped, so you can see the full shape before you pick it out – and they’ll wrap it for you there and then. They’re open daily from 28th November 2022 until 23rd December 2022 and local delivery is available.

Christmas Tree Corner
Every year, next to Oakwood Clock and where Street Lane meets Roman Avenue, a little dose of festive joy pops up. Christmas Tree Corner offers trees of all shapes and sizes from their two spots near Roundhay Park. From Fraser Firs to Nordmann Firs, you can find the perfect tree for you and better still, they’ll wrap your favourite up using oxo-biodegradable tree netting before putting it into your car, so it leaves no microparticles behind. They’re open every Saturday and Sunday through December 2022 until Christmas.

Meanwood Real Christmas Tree Pop-Up Shop
You know the festive season is kicking into gear when the real Christmas tree pop-up shop in The Myrtle Tavern’s car park opens. They stock a range of sizes and styles and all of their trees are sourced locally from places that invest in replanting, so it’s good for the environment. Live local? They offer free delivery. But that’s not all – get your smooches ready with some mistletoe and decorate your door with one of their wreaths. They’re open from Thursday to Sunday from Thursday 1st December 2022 to Sunday 18th December 2022.

Warm Lane Farm
Warm Lane Farm has been providing Christmas joy for over 30 years with their own grown trees that shoot up at their Yeadon home. Whether you’re looking for Nordmann Firs, Fraser Firs or Norway Spruces, this is the place to go. Browse them all unwrapped before you pick your perfect one and get it covered to take home. And you can even treat yourself to some festive decorations and wreaths from their little Christmas shop. They’re open every day of the week from Friday 25th November 2022 until Christmas.

The Vale
The Vale is a plant nursery and mini garden centre open all year round for green-fingered goodness, but come November, it’s your go-to for Christmas trees around Meanwood and Headingley. From the traditional potted spruce tree to the stylish Nordmann trees, you’re spoilt for choice. But the festive fun doesn’t stop there, they sell mistletoe and wreaths, or if you’re making your own wreath, they’ve got all the elements you’ll need. They’re open seven days a week through the year and £1 from every tree purchased goes to a local charity.

Brookleigh Farm
With over 20 years under their belt, Brookleigh Farm is one of Leeds’ most experienced Christmas tree farms. There are different varieties of trees on offer, from the traditional Norway Spruce and Nordman Fir to the newer, non-drop Frazer Firs and potted trees. It couldn’t be easier for you to pick one out. They’ll even deliver it for you – and you can pick up a handmade wreath, a reusable whiskey barrel tree stand and paint-your-own bauble kits while you’re there. They’re open from Friday 25th November 2022 until Christmas Eve.
