3 City Centre Flats We’d Kill to Live In

· Joseph Sheerin · Living

Flats so good, you’ll want to move in right away.

Watermans Place, Granary Wharf

The city centre is full of apartments worth making your claim on, but no matter how awesome these three are, they’re way beyond our means…

There are some flats that are just so gosh-darned amazing that we’d do anything to live in them – like these three. With their massive rooftop terraces, their incredibly spacious living areas and all those original character features, they’re so good, we’d absolutely kill to live in them.

2 bedroom penthouse on Dock Street

Flat at No. 1 Dock Street

Dock Street is one of the most coveted addresses in Leeds city centre, so it’s no surprise that this penthouse apartment at No.1 caught our attention. It has a massive kitchen and living area, perfect for entertaining, and it brings together the old and the new with that incredible vaulted wooden ceiling and those original sash windows.

For £1600 per month, you get 2 bedrooms, the master is generously sized with amazing views from two sides, and the second bedroom is sizeable too, so you could always split the rent with your bestie. There’s more – if the inside doesn’t completely wow you, the outdoor space will. It’s got a balcony which overlooks the River Aire.

3 bedroom duplex on Granary Wharf

Watermans Place, Granary Wharf

Okay, we’ll level with you, as amazing as the inside of this apartment is, it’s the outdoor space that sells it. Step through the French doors and onto a ginormous south-facing terrace which has stunning views of the River Aire by Granary Wharf below – it’s so rare to find outdoor space in a city centre apartment and this is practically a private rooftop garden.

Back inside, there’s plenty to shout about, but you’ll pay through the nose for it – it’s £2,800 per month. We can dream, right? It’s one of the biggest flats in the Waterman’s Place. The entire top floor has been turned into an open plan kitchen and living area and if you head downstairs you’ll find 3 bedrooms. The master is the star of the show, with built in wardrobes, an ensuite bathroom and its own south-facing balcony, but the other two are good enough for roommates. You’ll just have to fight it out over who get the big ‘un. Rock, paper, scissors?

3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on Park Place

When an apartment has more bathrooms than bedrooms, you know it’s made for entertaining. This one has three bedrooms, so you can split the £2,250 rent between three to make it almost affordable. You’ll find just that with this gem of an apartment on Park Place. It’s a traditional building, but the flat is anything – it’s a bright, modern space with all mod cons and bespoke furnishings.

The living room and kitchen boasts a flat screen Smart TV and top of the range appliances – it’s definitely big enough to have a few friends around, and maybe even their friends too. The bedrooms are equally fancy – they’re decked out in grey and white, with king size beds, and those four bathrooms are the definition of luxury – we’re talking granite topped vanity units, Hansgrohe fittings, a walk in towerhead shower and a full sized bathtub.
