The world’s most magical club night is coming back to Leeds in October 2018…
Foreverland is a one of a kind party and it’s returning to Church on Friday 19th October 2018 – the famous venue will be transformed into a madcap woodland world as they bring their Enchanted Forest Rave to Leeds. You can look forward to an incredible line-up of DJs and live performers playing tunes until the early hours – but that’s not all. The venue will be transformed with fake leaves and trees, as mythical beast puppeteers, walkabout characters and inflatable creatures create a truly surreal experience.
Foreverland originally started out in Bournemouth in the summer of 2015. It’s the brainchild of Connor Scanlan – he decided to start the event during his 2nd year at the university. He wanted to create a night that gave a platform to the best musical talent he could find, but in a space that made you feel like you’d never have to grow up – it’s pure escapism.
Since then, Foreverland has built up quite the reputation. In 2017 alone, they took it to Budafest, El Dorado and Bestival, before bringing it to Leeds for the first time on a 12 date UK tour in February 2018. Now it’s coming back to the city on a new tour, with a brand new theme – each show will be different to the one before and Church stands out as the most unique venue on the list.
They’re designing a one-off stage and set for every date on the tour, but with the same aim each time – to create a visual feast with festival-level production. There will be themed characters performing theatrics, as acrobats complete awe-inspiring moves above you. They’ll have pyrotechnics, LED displays, CO2 and confetti cannons, with giant props and inflatables to bring this club night to life.
The line-up won’t be confirmed until the days running up to the event itself, but the Foreverland alumni reads like a who’s who of modern British music. We’re talking Stormzy, My Nu Leng, Monki, Preditah, Blonde, So Solid Crew, Redlight, Chipmunk and Artful Dodger. The result will be a soundtrack that brings together the best house, garage, bass and grime, all under one roof.
Scanlon told us what to expect when Foreverland comes to Leeds, “We can’t wait to take Foreverland on tour. Our production is going to be bigger and better than ever. When you step into our world you step back into the magic and wonderment of childhood, and of course we throw in a healthy shot of fun, debauchery and a quality soundtrack to make a trip to Foreverland something you’ll never forget.”
Foreverland promises to be a night like no other, a crazy unpredictable night of revelry that offers the perfect escape from the real world – you coming?
