The annual Kerrang Tour returns in 2015 including a date at O2 Academy Leeds with some huge talent.

It’s the start of the year and therefore it’s the season for the music mags to trot out some of the best national and international talent for a prestigious tour across the UK. The Kerrang Tour is one of them, as the rock music magazine puts on its favourite metal, rock and punk bands at O2 Academy Leeds on Saturday 7th February 2015.

Taking on headline duties, previously held by the likes of Limp Bizkit, Good Charlotte, Biffy Clyro and All Time Low, is Bedford quartet Don Broco, who’ve made a rapid rise since the release of debut album ‘Priorities’ in 2012.

The album picked up fans assuredly, but it has been Don Broco’s show-stealing live performances that really rocketed them to a new audience, with gigs at Slam Dunk, Reading and Leeds, Download and Sonisphere giving fans a glimpse of what they can do.

It sets Don Broco for a huge year, that starts with the band headlining the Kerrang Tour 2015 ahead of the release of the as-yet-untitled LP in May – and if first cuts ‘Money Power Fame’ and ‘Fire’ are anything to go by, they won’t do too bad out of it.

They’ll be joined for the main support by New York pop punks We Are the In Crowd – another band who have taken their time to hone their sound and live shows as they grow into a force to be reckoned with.

2011 debut ‘Best Intentions’ got them noticed on both sides of the Atlantic, but last year’s second effort, ‘Weird Kids’ showed a growing maturity that earned acclaim from the alternative music press, helped by Taylor Jardine’s distinctive voice.

Metalcore heavyweights Bury Tomorrow will also be at O2 Academy Leeds this February. They’ve been banging on the door and screaming in your ear for nearly a decade now and 2014’s third album ‘Runes’ is a record that shows the band and the genre off at its best.

Opening the Kerrang Tour 2015 at O2 Academy Leeds will be Columbus, Ohio punks Beartooth. Led by the hugely talented Caleb Shlomo, formerly of Attack Attack!, the band released debut album ‘Disgusting’ last year to wide acclaim and will kick off proceedings with the bang it deserves.

Kerrang Tour 2015 featuring Don Broco, We Are the In Crowd, Bury Tomorrow and Beartooth is at O2 Academy Leeds at 5.30pm on Saturday 7th February 2015. Tickets are available now.
