The Indian Curry Cardinal
They’ve popped up in venues across West Yorkshire for years and run a hugely popular home delivery service from Morley, but now The Indian Curry Cardinal will have a permanent home in Leeds. They’re taking over the kitchen at The Drysalters pub on Elland Road from the start of August. You can try a host of curries, kebabs and sharing platters, but their speciality is the Naan’izza. It’s an Indian twist on pizza made with a naan bread toppings that range from chicken tikka to chilli paneer.
The Indian Curry Cardinal is opening in The Drysalters pub on Saturday 1st August 2020.
There’s a new boutique yoga studio opening in Roundhay this September. Warrior Works is the brainchild of lawyer-turned-yogi, Cat Tanham. You can look forward to a series of classes focussed on building core strength and overall fitness. From beginners yoga to HIIT fusion, hot yoga and sculpt, there are a host of sessions to choose from. There’s even a hip-hop yoga class that will get you moving and grooving with each move.

After becoming a huge success in Crossgates, The Assembly is powering through with plans to open a second venue on Main Street in Garforth before the end of 2020. You can expect more of what they do so well – a carefully curated menu of craft beer, wine and spirits which you can enjoy in their cool-as-heck cafe-bar or take home. If you fancy a bite to eat, they’ll be serving their famous charcuterie boards, bar snacks and cakes by Hannah’s Kitchen.
