Monday lectures done and dusted? Better get on down to Bobby’s Disco Club at The Warehouse for a night of disco dancing to start the week off right.
This is one of the best student nights in Leeds if you like to get down and groove – expect hits from ABBA, Chaka Khan, Ministry of Funk and more. First release tickets start at £5.55, and with a whole load of fun to be had, there’s no better place to find yourself than under the disco ball.

VIBE Tuesdays at Popworld
Are your guilty pleasures just not guilty anymore? If so, you can let your hair down to some of the cheesiest pop music at Popworld every Tuesday from just £1.
There’s often different themed nights, from Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter to Chappell Roan and Charlie XCX. The resident DJs will be filling in all the gaps with all the usual Popworld hits we know and love, so best get practising your Macarena.

Mischief Wednesdays at The Warehouse
If you’re looking to cause some mayhem, Mischief Wednesdays at The Warehouse is the place to go. Home to the Leeds sports team’s social events each week, their main room is full of throwbacks and club bangers, with the loft room bringing out the best in hip-hop and R&B.
Expect the unexpected, because these guys are experts in themed nights and fancy dress, whether it be a pyjama party, bonfire night or Santa’s grotto. Tickets start from £5 – not too bad for one of the best student nights out in Leeds.

Indie Thursdays at the O2 Academy

Indie Thursdays? It’s only one of Leeds’ biggest student nights out that doesn’t involve EDM. You can trip the light fantastic to all the indie rock icons, from the Arctic Monkeys to Blossoms and Gorillaz.
It’s held in one of the city’s most iconic gig venues, the O2 Academy, with multicoloured lights and a laidback vibe, perfect for those singalong ops. Super early bird tickets start from just 99p but sell out quick, so act fast to grab yours.

Spaced Thursdays at The Space

Looking for a cosmic night out? The Space have got just the thing. Spaced Thursdays is one of the most spectacular Thursday nights in Leeds, with out-of-this-world visuals, penny-pinching drink offers and two rooms of non-stop slammers.
The Main Room provides the ultimate party mash-up, while Room 2 will bring you all things R&B and hip-hop. So, lace up your dancing shoes (trainers are highly recommended) and head out into Space – with tickets starting from just £2, it’d be rude not.

Nothing beats that Friday feeling, especially after a week of never-ending lectures, so grab your mates, a drink and let it all go for the weekend at Paradiso every Friday at The Space.
With tickets starting from £1, shots from just £2 and all things pink and tropical, they’ve got everything you need for an insane night out. You can dance the night away under the club’s famous ceiling lights to non-stop house, dance, R&B and Motown.

Calling all rock fans – this is the student night in Leeds for you. On Fridays, the DJs at Fuel blast out all your favourite alt tunes.
In Room 1, you can get down to the likes of Fall Out Boy, Paramore and even Taylor Swift. But if you like it heavier, metal titans Slipknot, Iron Maiden and Metallica can be heard in Room 2. It’s £6 on the door and 3 for £7 Jager shots all night, with other drinks from £3.

Fruity at Leeds University Union

Fruity is the place to be on a Friday. It’s one of Leeds’ longest running and most iconic student nights out. Every weekend, the Leeds University Union is transformed into one of the hottest party venues in town.
We’re talking three rooms of music, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re an R&B fan or you love a good singalong. Weekly drink deals mean it’s too cheap to pass up and with £5 tickets, we say cheers to that!

Saturdays at The Backroom
Saturdays at The Backroom have been an integral part of Leeds’ student nightlife for over 12 years now, with hip hop and R&B fans coming out in droves. It’s free entry before 11:30pm, which then jumps to £8, so be sure to get down early.
There’s always three DJs spinning the decks, with two dancefloors to flaunt your best moves on. Oh, and did we mention that they’re open until 6am? Get ready to party until the sun comes up with this one!

Bongo’s Bingo

It’s not officially a Leeds student night, but Bongo’s Bingo couldn’t be left off this list. Clubbing and bingo rolled into one, this is an utterly bonkers night of fun throughout every single month at the O2 Academy.
You’ll belt out High School Musical classics, wave glow sticks and even take part in epic dance battles as you try to get a full house. There are some equally crazy prizes up for grabs, so you could be going home with a gigantic toy unicorn or even £500 in cash.
