BOX IT at Motive8 North
Motive8 North’s BOX IT is a high-energy class that blends boxing techniques with interval training. After a warm up, you will pummel pads with your best jabs and uppercuts. The class is designed to help you tone up and burn fat, so between boxing exercises, you’ll do bursts of strengthening work like skipping, medicine ball drills and resistance band exercises. You can choose a 45-minute or one-hour class, with a new 30-minute one coming soon, which is perfect if you just want to try it out.
Motive8 North, Marshall Court, Marshall Street, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS11 9YP. BOX IT is on Wednesdays at 7.15am and Thursdays at 6pm. Classes start at £5.

Box Fit at Graft Haus
Martial Arts school owner Chun Fu will run you through your paces at Box Fit. He’s designed this boxercise class to make you sweat from the word go. You’ll get stuck into burpees, sit ups and lunges, jabbing at focus pads with each rep. There are only 10 people per class, so Chun can make sure everyone’s involved in the action and nobody is hiding at the back. It also means he can get to know your personal strengths and help you sharpen up those weak left hooks during the 45-minute class.
