The UK’s leading vintage fair is coming to Leeds, bringing with it 30 stalls packed with treasures from days gone by.
It seems that Leeds is the place to be for vintage shopping right now. In the coming months, we’re welcoming 3 vintage fairs back to the city, including one of the biggest in the country. Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair is famed from London to Edinburgh, and it’s setting up shop in the Corn Exchange on 27th April 2013.
The Leeds Vintage Fair, as it’s known, is free to attend. So you can save your money for the vintage bargains you’ll be buying. And you’re sure to find something you want, with a choice of vintage clothing stalls, stocking everything from shirts and dresses to cut-off denim shorts and leather jackets – all for a mighty affordable price, as the name would suggest.
But it’s not just vintage fashion that will tempt the money right out of your purse. The fair also boasts a range of homeware stalls, with furnishings, trinkets and every kind home accessory. For the DIY addicts among you, there are knitting patterns, while music lovers can choose from a selection of vintage vinyl finds. And yes fellas, there’s menswear too.
As well as the shopping, the Leeds Vintage Fair promises a traditional forties-style tearoom experience, complete with cake. So you can take a break from the bargain hunting and relax in true vintage style.
Leeds was actually home to the first ever Judy’s Vintage Fair in 2005, as founder Judy hails from our fair city. Since those early days, the fair has become popular with some big names, including Chloe Sevigny and Pixie Lott.
Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair comes to the Leeds Corn Exchange on 27th April 2013. It’s open from 10am-5pm.
