If you’re looking for idyllic seclusion on your next getaway, head to Stonebeck Gate Farm’s Shepherd Rest. Your only neighbours are the sheep as you enjoy a bit of R&R in a snug shepherd’s hut, complete with wood-burning stove and open-air hot tub. It’s perfect for a spot of stargazing after a visit to the Fox and Hounds in nearby Ainsthorpe. Wold’s Edge Treehouse
The luxury treehouse at Wold’s Edge is the perfect destination for a romantic getaway. With a king-sized bed, fully equipped kitchen and en-suite shower, this beautifully designed treehouse has everything you need to stay holed up together. Copper Beach Glade
Head past Markington Hall’s arched stone bridge and the 18th-century water mill and you’ll find Copper Beech Glade and its trio of wonderful gypsy caravans. Each one is beautifully decorated and come complete with old wood-burning stoves, double beds and pull-out beds for the kids. They’re only small, but the Log Cabin next door has a kitchen, bathroom, and large, heated veranda to sit out on at night. They have sports and games onsite or you can plan excursions to gorgeous nearby attractions like Brimham Rocks and Fountains Abbey.
