If you’re matcha mad, this is one new opening that should definitely be on your radar. The super chill matcha and açaí bar has already been picking up fans in Sheffield thanks to their pastel-perfect drinks and beautiful bowls – and now Leeds can rejoice as they’ll be opening a new spot on Lower Briggate soon.
From laid-back brunch dates with friends to morning catch-ups and afternoon pick-me-ups, Made’s dreamy matcha drinks, refreshing fruit bowls, and welcoming atmosphere are sure to shake up your usual coffee run.
Made will be opening on Lower Briggate (in the former Nice Things space) in April 2026.

Wine lovers, you’re in for a treat, as Once Upon a Vine are uncorking their third venue right in the heart of Headingley. Already adored in Horsforth and Wetherby, they’re known for shelves brimming with beautiful bottles, plenty of fizz, a cracking line-up of local beers and those dangerously good sharing boards that turn “just one drink” into a full-on evening.
With floor-to-ceiling wine walls and cosy vibes, this one’s shaping up to be your new go-to for catch-ups, date nights and any excuse to raise a glass. Cheers to that.
Once Upon a Vine will be opening on Otley Road in Headingley, date TBC.

Get ready to make some space in your wardrobe – Glass Onion is coming back to Leeds, and this time, it’s set to stay. After testing the waters with a pop-up in the city in 2024, Yorkshire-born vintage store Glass Onion is making its return with its very first permanent Leeds store.
Expect rails packed with handpicked vintage gems, from classic denim and retro sportswear to standout one-offs, all championing sustainability and serious throwback style. If their last stint proved anything, it’s that Leeds loves a good rummage, and we can’t wait to get our hands on some one-of-a-kind threads.
Glass Onion will be opening on Lands Lane on Wednesday 18th March 2026.
