With a new year comes a whole host of new openings landing in the city – and here are just a handful on the horizon.
Leeds is a city with its finger on the pulse, with a slew of new stores, eateries and leisure spaces always ready to throw open their doors. From sweet treats with a healthy twist, to vibrant new restaurants, and wellness centres that help you achieve your goals, we’ve rounded up five of the most exciting businesses that are opening in the next few months. Which one are you most excited for?
Broaster Club

You ain’t never had chicken like this before. First established in Saudi Arabia in 2000, Broaster Club is bringing their unique approach to poultry to the people of Leeds. Broasting involves pressure-frying the meat, ensuring you get chicken that’s crispy and juicy. They import their key ingredients directly from Saudi Arabia, and also serve infused chicken – a process that involves flavouring deep into the meat. This means Broaster boasts big and bold bites you won’t find anywhere else in the city. Now this is a club you’re going to want to join.
Broaster Club will be opening on 72 New Briggate in early February 2026.
D1 Fitness

If you’re sick of fighting the crowds and waiting for the machines at the gym, then D1 Fitness could be the solution for you. A concept created by four friends in Bradford, this state-of-the-art wellness centre allows you to book by the hour and enjoy the whole space to yourself. Plus, with the ShredFast room, you can get a sweat on with their high-intensity interval training, before cooling down in a reinvigorating ice bath. It’s hard work but good vibes, and open to everyone, no matter where you are in your fitness journey.
D1 Fitness will be opening in The Old Coach House, Pudsey on Saturday 31st January 2026.
Kefiyo
We were saddened to hear of the closure of Sixes in Headingley, but Kefiyo is here to ease the pain with something sweet. They’re set to serve smooth scoops of frozen yoghurt, providing a tasty alternative to ice cream that’s sure to pop on both your palate and your social feed. Their motto is “eat clean, feel light, live better” and we can’t wait to tuck in. From fresh and fruity flavours like raspberry and blueberry, to classic scoops of chocolate, the only question is which will you be ordering?
Kefiyo will be opening in the former Sixes venue in Headingley in early 2026.
DOMO

Born in Sardinia and a huge hit in Sheffield, DOMO is set to wow diners in Leeds with their vibrant dishes. The menu is designed to be shared, accompanied with great wine and even better company. Everything here is expertly crafted in house, from the pasta to the bread and sauces. Indulge with fresh seafood mains, kick back with cured meat and local cheese, or take your time to savour slow-cooked suckling pig feasts. With unapologetically indulgent desserts and drinks that hail from the island too, this is food that leaves a lasting impression.
DOMO will be opening in Tower Works, Mustard Wharf, date TBC.
Arch & OTLO

These are technically two openings, but with both putting the well(ness) in Wellington Place, we thought we’d bundle them together. Arch is a pilates studio that’s been designed to offer a welcoming sanctuary. Led by expert instruction, its aim is to empower members to feel strong, confident and connected. OTLO is a brand new wellness space that’s more than just a gym. It brings world-class coaching together with excellent facilities (think infrared saunas and ice baths) and hands-on support to help you achieve your lifestyle goals in a balanced, sustainable way.
Arch will be opening in 11 Wellington Place in March 2026, and OTLO will be opening above it in April 2026.
