Expect everything from World Cup action and live comedy to music festivals, outdoor concerts and T20 cricket – all handpicked so you don’t have to scroll endlessly in search of the good stuff.

Could Be Real Tribute Fest. A huge day of singalong anthems arrives at Harewood House as some of the UK’s leading tribute acts celebrate music’s biggest names, from ABBA to Arctic Monkeys. Expect a packed line-up, festival vibes and plenty of crowd-pleasing hits in the stunning surroundings of the historic estate.

Goodlife Festival. Harewood House hosts another huge summer event with the return of Goodlife Festival. Bringing together live performances from some of the biggest names in house and disco, alongside street food and a relaxed festival atmosphere, it’s the perfect excuse for a day out in the sunshine.

80s Classical. The biggest hits of the decade get the orchestral treatment as 80s Classical comes to Millennium Square. Expect live vocals, the 50-piece Orchestra of Opera North and huge singalong moments celebrating everything from synth-pop classics to power ballads.

England v Croatia. England’s World Cup campaign gets underway with a group-stage clash against Croatia. With Thomas Tuchel looking to make a strong start to the tournament, there’ll be a huge atmosphere across the city as fans gather to watch the Three Lions in action.

England v Ghana. England’s second group-stage fixture sees them take on Ghana in what could prove to be one of their toughest tests of the opening stage. Expect pubs, bars and fan zones across the city to be packed for this one.

England v Panama. England round off their group-stage campaign against Panama, with qualification hopes potentially still on the line. Whether you’re watching from your local pub or a dedicated fan zone, expect a lively atmosphere as the group stage reaches its conclusion.

Yorkshire v Lancashire Vitality Blast. One of cricket’s fiercest rivalries returns as Yorkshire take on Lancashire in the Vitality Blast. Expect a packed-out Headingley Stadium, big hitting and a brilliant atmosphere as the Roses rivals go head-to-head. With Yorkshire’s women taking on Durham before hand, it’s a double header of elite cricket action.

Windrush By Song. This moving dance, music and theatre production tells the story of Sorel and Ginger, two hearts brought together across generations and continents. Blending live music, powerful storytelling and dance, the show explores love, family, community and resilience in the face of racism.

Ellie Kildunne: Game Changer Live. England rugby star Ellie Kildunne heads to City Varieties for a special live event exploring her career, achievements and life at the top of the game. Expect behind-the-scenes stories, insight and plenty of inspiration from one of rugby’s biggest stars.

Nick Mohammed Is Mr Swallow. Following huge performances on Taskmaster and Ted Lasso, Nick Mohammed returns as his chaotic alter ego Mr Swallow for two nights of brilliantly unpredictable comedy. Expect absurd stories, audience interaction and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.

Joanne McNally: Pinotphile. One of comedy’s biggest rising stars brings her latest tour to Leeds, delivering the irreverent, ridiculous and hilarious war stories that have made her a sell-out favourite across the UK and Ireland.

Leeds Tattoo Expo. Tattoo artists from across the UK and beyond descend on Leeds for a weekend celebrating body art, creativity and alternative culture. Alongside live tattooing, there’ll be competitions, entertainment and the chance to meet some of the industry’s most talented artists.

MAMMA MIA! One of the world’s most-loved musicals arrives at Leeds Grand Theatre this June, bringing ABBA’s biggest hits to life on stage in a feel-good story packed with comedy, romance and sunshine. Ready to be whisked away? Round up your pals and get yourself tickets to this guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

England v Scotland. There’s more cricket in Leeds this June as Headingley hosts a number of Women’s T20 World Cup fixtures. England v Scotland is the pick of the bunch, as the hosts take on the Scots – marking the first occasion the two nations have met in any kind of cricket World Cup fixture, men or women, in the UK.

Leeds Lit Fest. The award-winning celebration of all things literature returns to Leeds from Saturday 6th to Sunday 14th June 2026. Taking over venues across the city, expect author talks, poetry nights, book fairs and everything inbetween.
