The Leeds Deli might just be one of the trendiest delis in the city. Inside it’s all exposed brick, funky prints and neon signs, but it’s the food that’ll keep you coming back. A stacked brunch menu with delights like potato rosti and pan-fried gnocchi gives way to a deli counter of dreams. Owners Nick Colley and Tory Fox-Hill were inspired by their time in Italy so you can sink your teeth into rosemary focaccia, homemade preserves, Perelló olives and more.

An independent gem in the heart of Horsforth Vale, Brodie & Flynn have got their deli game down to a tee. Cured meats, cheeses, organic bread, local coffee, you name it, they’ve got it. But they’re most famous for their cracking sausage rolls – flavours change regularly, but previous creations include Bengali, caramelised onion and blue cheese, and chilli and fennel. Sweet tooth? They’ve got treats for days, but we love the triple layer Sicilian drizzle cake. Yum!
