It’s almost here – UEFA Euro 2024 will be taking over Leeds this summer, but where can you watch all the big games?
The UEFA European Championship is the biggest football tournament in, well, Europe, and anticipation is already building. Hopes will be high once more for the England national team as they aim to rekindle the spirit of 1966 and end 58 years of hurt, while neighbours Scotland will be looking to go further than 2020 when they reached the group stage. You can find out if either can go all the way when the tournament kicks off on Friday 14th June 2024. Without further ado, here’s where to watch Euro 2024 in Leeds…
Millennium Square

This is the big one. It wasn’t open for the 2022 World Cup, but Millennium Square is making its comeback as the England Fanzone for Euro 2024. They’re showing all the group games, starting with England v Serbia on Sunday 16th June 2024, followed by matches against Denmark and Slovenia.
They’ll also follow England’s progress through the tournament into the knockout rounds, but if fixtures coincide with concerts they will not be shown. Tickets cost £5 per person, and you’ll be able to access a licensed bar and street food vendors once inside.

Project House

Euro 2024 will be the first tournament since Project House opened its doors, so it’s going all out to make sure you can watch England play in style. All of the Three Lions’ games will be shown on a massive outdoor screen – this is going to be one of the best places to watch Euro 2024 in leeds.
House of Fu, Homeboy Pizza Co and Braizin’ Squad will be serving grub in the courtyard, while DJs spin tunes into the evening. Tickets are £11.17 for England games, but you’ll get a free beer for your trouble, or you can book a table of eight to get two free drinks per person.

O2 Academy Leeds
As ever, the O2 Academy is one of the best places in Leeds to watch England in Euro 2024. There’s no guarantee they will be showing every game due to clashes with other events already scheduled, but you can look forward to catching all of England’s group stage fixtures.
Dates for the diary are Serbia on Sunday 16th June 2024, Denmark on Thursday 20th June 2024 and Slovenia on Tuesday 25th June 2024. If they get through to the knockout stages, expect more live screenings. Better still, all their screenings are free entry.

One of the best music venues in Leeds doubles as the perfect place to catch a big game, so it’s no surprise they’ll be going out for this year’s European Championship in Germany. They have HD screens throughout the main bar and games room areas, so grab a pint and a seat.

It’s a hipster hangout, but every time England make it to a major football tournament, Belgrave gets right into the football fever – and Euro 2024 will be no different. The Three Lions’ games will be shown on each of the three floors so you can watch it wherever you are.

Always a popular destination when there’s a big game on, Walkabout is going all out for Euro 2024. Their Leeds bar has an almost endless array of screens across two floors on which they’ll be showing every single game live from Germany.

Football is at BOX’s very core so it’s no surprise that the Euro 2024 will be shown live on its big screens, at both their city centre and Headingley bars. They’ll have every game on live, not just England matches, and that runs all the way until the final on Sunday 14th July 2024.

When the sun is shining, there aren’t many better places to be than Headrow House. Now add to that a chance to watch England marching to glory from the the sun-soaked rooftop terrace at Headrow House, and where would you rather be? Exactly.

A family-friendly, sports-mad pub in the heart of Meanwood, The Beck & Call will have UEFA Euro 2024 fever through June and July. They’re showing every game live on their massive screens in the pub, but also on a huge 20-foot screen in the beer garden, where there’ll also be an outdoor bar.
For England games they expect it to be particularly busy, so booking a table ahead is highly recommended. Better yet, it’s a great place for a pre or post-match feed too, with proper pub grub. Bringing the kids? They have a dedicated family zone, both inside and out.

If you’re looking for somewhere cool and central in the city to watch the big England games during Euro 2024, head on down to the leafy yet industrial surroundings of Green Room. They’ll have screens on all floors, including up on the terrace where they’ll have a massive LED screen.
It’s walk-ins as normal, so don’t worry about booking ahead, just make sure you plan to get down early. If you get hungry, their lunch menus will be running, while Tuesdays see Homeboy Pizza serving up pies. Watch out for special drinks offers too.

Brooklyn is a thriving hub of live sports on Call Lane in Leeds city centre, so it’s no surprise they’re going all out for Euro 2024. They have huge HD screens dotted across the venue, on which they’ll be showing all the major matches live.
And you can really make an occasion out of it – you can book tables or whole areas, depending on the size of your group, complete with one of their special drinks packages to save you going to the bar while the game’s on.

One of the best places to watch live sport in Leeds city centre, Editor’s Draught will also be the perfect place to watch UEFA Euro 2024. You can look forward to catching every game live, whether it’s England and Scotland or any of the other heavyweight clashes through to the final in July.

Farsley residents, rejoice! For the local craft beer brewery, Amity Brew Co, are going all out for the football this summer. They’re specifically getting behind the England team, showing all of their matches starting with the clash with Serbia on Sunday 16th June 2024.
It’s free to turn up, but you can also DM them to book in. Euro 2024 coincides with more fun they’ve got going on, namely their East Coast vs West Coast mini beer festival, so not only can you enjoy the games, you can sample a host of cool beers too.

From the folks who brought us such hits as Whitelock’s and The Turk’s Head, the Meanwood Tavern is their suburban home – and it will be showing the football tournament of the summer. That’s right, they’re showing Euro 2024 on their big screens to the rear of the pub.
All major games that are on during their opening hours will be up on the screen, but they’re also doing something extra special – sticking an extra big telly in the main pub area for all the England matches. No bookings necessary – it’s first come, first served.

If you’re looking for incredible atmosphere while you’re watching England’s adventure through Euro 2024, then head to The Warehouse. This legendary Leeds club is throwing open its doors for special screenings of the Three Lions’ games in Germany.
For £5 entry (which gets you a pint), each one will be shown on a huge 250-inch HD screen, complete with commentary on a club soundsystem with DJs on before and at half-time. Kirkstall are providing the beers and Home Boy Pizza will line your stomachs.

It’s a celebration of craft beer, a sanctuary of shuffleboard and a popular city centre hangout – now The Head of Steam is adding football to its arsenal. It’ll be one of the best bars to watch Euro 2024 in Leeds – actually not one, but three because their Park Row, Mill Hill and Headingley homes will all have it on.

Testbed are teaming up with 4theFans to put on the ultimate watchalong experience for England’s games during Euro 2024. The massive warehouse will have huge screens and a state-of-the-art soundsystem for commentary, starting with England taking on Serbia on Sunday 16th June 2024.
They’ll have DJs playing before, at half-time and after, while also putting together programmes jam-packed with top-tier football banter. As well as a huge bar and street food, there will be football legends for each game, like Danny Mills and Paul Robinson. Tickets start from £8 per person.

Looking for somewhere to watch the football in Horsforth? Get over to Kirkstall Brewery’s Three Swords pub. They’ll be chanting along to ‘Three Lions on the shirt’, so why not join in? They’ll have screens up, both inside and out.
While you’re there you can sample all of Kirkstall’s fine range of ales and craft beers, from Virtuous to Dissolution IPA, which will go down perfectly with their menu of Indian street food. You can walk-in, but it’s best to book ahead, especially for England’s games.

Cuckoo is the craziest bar in Leeds and it’s going double crazy for Euro 2024 this summer. Head down to this Call Lane favourite this summer as they show every minute of every England game, alongside a host of other matches from the tournament including all the big knockout games.
