This July marks ten years since the Elland Road Park & Ride scheme first launched in Leeds. Since then, two further sites have opened in Temple Green and Stourton respectively, and thousands of passengers have turned to the service as a handy way to reach the city centre. With smooth, low-emission vehicles, an abundance of free parking and affordable ticket options, it just makes sense to Park & Ride.

With three locations to choose from, there’s a Park & Ride for everyone! Elland Road is perfect for trips from the south and west of Leeds, Temple Green is ideal for trips from the north and east, and Stourton is great for passengers from the south and southwest. Pick your service then drive, walk or cycle to reach it – the choice is yours. Each site has different operating times, so be sure to check before you travel.

Queues into the city, searching for parking which won’t break the bank – these stresses are all a thing of the past when you get the Park & Ride. It really couldn’t be simpler. With over a thousand car parking spacesat each location, so you’re almost guaranteed a spot! Bays are spacious and well laid out, and there’s disabled parking, motorcycle spaces and secure cycle storage. You can even charge your EV if you have one.
It’s perfect for commuting – and 91% of customers say it’s value for money*
With frequent services during peak times, the Park & Ride is an ideal way to get to the city. You can hop on board and chill, while USB chargers and free WiFi make it easy to get a head start on your day. What’s more, super-flexible multi-day tickets are perfect if your rota tends to change. Buy in multiples of five or more and you can activate each ticket as and when you need it, paying £3.60 per day rather than £4.
There are great deals for groups and families

It’s not just commuters who love the Park & Ride, it’s also perfect for days out. Taking the kids out? It’s a no-brainer. Up to three under 19s can travel for free with every fee-paying adult, and with tickets available for just £1.50 if you travel after 3pm Monday to Friday (or Monday to Saturday at Stourton), the whole family could get into Leeds for just £3! What’s more, the Stourton Saturday special lets five people travel together for just £6.50. Bargain!
