Bedern Hall

Dream of getting married hobbit-style? That’s what North Shire is all about. This picture-perfect family farm is set in six stunning acres in the the village of Liverton – and they offer a selection of enchanting themed accommodations, including the grass-roofed hobbit house that can give your bridal suite a touch of Middle Earth.
The wedding itself is held in the whimsical Enchanted Barn, with tree branches overhead and glowing fairy lights, where you and up to 450 can dance the night away. Toast a glass from the fully stocked bar or personalise your wedding with everything from live music to hot tubs. Once the party’s over, your guests can pick from caravans, shepherd huts or tents to stay the night, while you retire to the Shire House for a cosy, loved-up night under the stars.

The Priests House

Situated right next to the incredible Barden Tower ruins and surrounded by the gorgeous rolling countryside, The Priests House ticks all the boxes for an unforgettable wedding venue. Retaining its historic splendour, the House boasts many of its original features, along with a striking oak beamed ceiling and roaring log fires.
For ceremonies of up to 80 people, you can exchange vows in the the renovated Chapel, filled with natural light thanks to large windows and finished with exquisite chandeliers. Throughout your big day, you and your guests can explore the grounds of this delectable slice of the countryside. Millennium Gallery

Art fans and culture vultures rejoice, as the Millennium Gallery can cater for truly unique nuptials. This contemporary landmark in Sheffield city centre lets you unleash your creativity and bring your dream wedding vision to life within the blank canvas that is the Arundel Room.
After the ceremony, you and up to 100 guests can take in the galleries and exhibitions (including the resident giraffe made of up-cycled cutlery) or head out to the gallery terrace to drink a toast as you take in views across the cityscape. Plus, you can hop over next door to the covered Winter Gardens for nature-filled wedding snaps or, if the sun has come out to bless you, make your way to the Peace Gardens for a beautiful backdrop to your photos.

Raven Hall Country House Hotel

Fancy tying the knot on top of a cliff overlooking the North Sea? You can do just that at Raven Hall Country House Hotel. Halfway between Whitby and Scarborough, this cool-as-heck Yorkshire wedding venue is perfectly positioned in the North York Moors National Park.
Depending on the size of your guest list, you can choose from the Great Hall or, for a more intimate affair, the handsome wood-panelled Viking Suite. And alongside the stellar views of your panoramic cliff-top wedding, the hotel also provides a wealth of other facilities to spoil you and your special guests. With a nine-hole cliff-side golf course, tennis courts and a heated indoor pool, you very well may be extending your stay for a couple extra days.

Camp Katur
Camp Katur is a unique glamping and camping village on the grounds of the scenic 250-acre Camp Hill Country Manor Estate. With an atmospheric woodland chapel, a hay barn and some truly unique accommodation, it has heaps of pizzazz.
The wedding starts the evening before, when you and your guests can enjoy games on the meadow or relax in hot tubs before heading back to your rooms – choose from the safari tents or tipis, yurts or even hobbit pods. On your big day, the ceremony will take place in the idyllic Woodland Chapel, with a pine needle floor aisle and breathtaking bracken backdrop. The Sun Pavilion
Tucked away in Harrogate’s Grade-II listed Valley Gardens is The Sun Pavilion, a magnificent 1930s Art Deco glass dome covered in lush greenery. Inside, huge glass windows fill the space with sunlight. It’s straight out of a fairytale and a truly enchanting place to tie the knot.
The pavilion is completely self-contained and it’ll be exclusively yours to use with up to 150 guests. You can say your vows under the stunning stained glass roof or in the manicured gardens outside. After the ceremony, toast to your nuptials at a traditional wedding breakfast, soak in the atmosphere on the terrace and explore the greenery. Then all the tables will be cleared away to get the party started, with a dedicated stage for a DJ or live music to soundtrack your night

Bowcliffe Hall

From the grand Georgian architecture and towering cast iron gates to the incredible sweeping staircase, you’ll be blown away by the sheer elegance of Bowcliffe Hall. Once home to one of history’s greatest Yorkshiremen, Robert Blackburn, this is a Yorkshire wedding destination a cut above the rest.
What sets Bowcliffe Hall apart is their ability to make all your wedding dreams a reality. There’s a very limited number of weddings held here each year, meaning each one is planned and preened to perfection. For a contemporary Yorkshire wedding, there’s the impressive ballroom, the more intimate Drivers’ Club and the famed Blackburn Wing. Skipwith Hall’s intimate gardens within the estate provide the perfect place to exchange rings, surrounded by flower beds and grassy paths. Meanwhile, in the woods lies a tranquil ancient oak clearing, with rustic benches or hay bales for up to 150 guests and a beautiful archway for the perfect setting for your vows. A short walk away, Esrick Park has plenty of space for a bespoke marquee venue where you can celebrate your nuptials with all your nearest and dearest.

Townend Tipis
A self-proclaimed best kept secret, Townend Tipis makes for a one-of-a-kind outdoor wedding venue. Located on the beautiful Townend Farm in the Yorkshire Wolds, it combines the rustic aesthetic of tipis with expansive greenery and all the little touches that elevate your special day.
The giant tipi hats are bordered by woodland and inside, you’ll find a canvas for you to put your own personal mark. Make full use of each of the three tipis – one offers a warm welcome with a roaring fire pit and comfy seating, the catering tent can host your sit-down meal, while the third is decked out with a dance floor, disco ball and stocked bar, with space for a DJ or live band. We tip-i our hat to this unique venue.
