Fancy taking the kids somewhere slightly more upmarket? How about Harvey Nichols Fourth Floor Brasserie? The perfect pitstop for hungry tummies after a shopping trip, they have a great a la carte menu available for little ones under 12.
You can spoil them with a three-course meal, with starters featuring a choice of cheesy garlic bread or tomato soup with focaccia bread. Mains serve up the classic battered cod and chips, spaghetti bolognese and more, while dessert sees them picking between ice cream or a sumptuous chocolate brownie.

Trinity Kitchen is one of the best places to eat with kids in Leeds, because everyone gets to pick exactly what they want. It’s a street food-style set up, where there are a plethora of eateries all touting their wares.
You could be getting your hands on (and mouths around) Indian street food from Rola Wala, fresh burritos and tacos from Tortilla and healthy, veggie-packed ramen from Pho – and that’s not even mentioning the ever-changing menu from the temporary vendors. It’s sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

Banyan is one of Leeds’ great family restaurants. It’s got lots of tastiness on offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner, whether you’re an adult or a kid. Their menu is packed with British classics like a mini full English breakfast, fish & chips and a cheeseburger.
They can also choose a side at no extra cost – be it sugar snap peas, steamed broccoli, carrot batons or cheesy garlic bread – and you can go large on the main for an extra quid. Need entertainment? There’s colouring to do and games to be played while they wait.

The menu is equally vibrant, with dosas, curries and puris the order of the day. The kids’ menu is a mini version, so they could be munching on palak sweetcorn, a kids’ cheese dosa or a methi mutter malai – fenugreek leaves, peas and paneer in a creamy sauce.

Their kids’ menu has the usual fare, like burgers and fish fingers, but why not try something new?

Estabulo brings tender, beautifully cooked cuts of meat to be carved at the table and they’ll just keep coming until you say stop. Think beef rump, chicken thighs, lamb, pork belly and more. You can pile your plate high with unlimited bread, salad and sides too. You’ll soon be full to bursting!

All mains are served with your little one’s choice of fries or coconut rice & peas, and a free soft drink. Plus, there’s even a tropical beach scene to colour in on the back while they wait! Sustainably-run brunch cafe Cha Lounge is for the eco-conscious families among us. Not only do they have a focus on reducing food waste, but they only use locally sourced, high-quality ingredients. They’ve got a kids’ menu full of options for veggies, vegans and carnivores.
We’re talking mini takes on the filling fry-ups, healthy porridge, free-range egg omelettes and buttermilk pancakes with their choice of blueberry or banana and Nutella. They’ve even got Babyccinos for the tots – steamed, frothy milk topped with a light dusting of chocolate. Yum!

You could be gobbling up a plate full of classic breakfast foods like sausage, smoked bacon, eggs, beans and toast, but what about the kids?
Well, they’ll be feasting on a mini version beside you, of course. For mains, there’s cheesy macaroni, served with peas or broccoli and garlic bread soldiers perfect for dipping. Or perhaps linguine with a sun-ripened tomato sauce will satisfy a tiny, rumbling belly. One thing’s for sure, the ice cream basket is a must for dessert!
