Newly engaged? The next step doesn’t have to be hard work.
Planning a wedding takes a lot of time. From finding suppliers to organising timings, there’s plenty to consider – and then there’s the question of keeping things running smoothly on the day. Ben, Jane and the team at New Craven Hall are there to help you bring it all together.
Here’s how they’re helping Leeds couples enjoy their big day – and all the days leading up to it.
A helping hand from the very beginning

New Craven Hall is the brainchild of Ben and Jane Corkhill – the husband and wife duo who transformed the former Vox warehouse into a wedding venue in 2016. Ten years later, they’re still helping Leeds couples turn their dreams into reality.
What sets them apart from other venues is their hands-on approach, which begins long before you walk down the aisle. Alongside the sleek city centre venue, you’ll have an experienced team to turn to for help, advice and guidance throughout the entire planning process.
Ben, Jane and the team manage the heavy lifting from day one. “As soon as you enquire, we’ll pick up the phone to introduce ourselves and have a chat,” Ben explained.
And once your date’s in the diary, you’ll receive a bookings pack with everything from recommended suppliers (and exclusive discounts), to registrar guidance, a wedding planning checklist and more. It’s a handy starting point to get things off the ground.

Every couple is different, and the New Craven Hall team is committed to helping you put your own distinct twist on your big day. Whether you want to go all-out disco, classy and candlelit or alternative and quirky, there’s a styling option to match – while the indoor setting means your plans don’t have to depend on the Yorkshire weather.
Jane’s background in bridal styling means she’s got a keen eye for the details. If you’d like a helping hand, her optional in-house styling services cover everything from ceremony and reception decor to floristry. Alongside sister brand Pinch Me Please, that means you can arrange most of the decoration through the venue, giving you fewer suppliers to juggle.
With a decade of weddings behind them, the team has helped bring all sorts of celebrations to life, including an Indian fusion wedding and the wedding of Danny Jones’ sister – yes, McFly were the wedding band. Ben and Jane even held their own wedding here, so they’ve experienced the space from the other side.

As your wedding gets closer, the team will help you nail down the final details. Six to eight weeks before the big day, you’ll sit down for a coordination meeting, talking through the room layout, running order and suppliers.
You can picture how it will all unfold, ask questions and get the final details agreed. The team will liaise directly with your suppliers, making sure everyone knows when to arrive, how to access the venue and who to contact.
When the day arrives, you can leave the clock-watching and coordination to them. They’ll keep things running to time, and there’ll always be a friendly face on hand whenever you need one. With everything taken care of, you spend less time worrying what happens next and more time celebrating with your favourite people.
