More new openings coming to Leeds? You betcha! Here are five we’re buzzing to welcome…
We’ve already seen a flurry of new openings in 2024, and now we’ve got another five for you to tell all your friends about. There’s burritos and coffee, alongside chicken wings and burgers – it’s a finger-lickin’ smorgasbord! That’s not to mention a massive milestone for motor neurone disease care in the city. So what are you waiting for? Read on and check out all the incredible new arrivals on their way to Leeds in the next few weeks and months.
Boojum

Burritos will be the order of the day in Leeds come April with the arrival of Boojum. They’re the much-loved Mexican that started in Ireland and is now coming across the Irish Sea for the first time, taking over the former Dunkin’ Donuts on Merrion Street. As well as their famed (in fact, viral) burritos, you can also get ready for bowls, nachos, tacos, chips and salsas, all made fresh in store daily, whether you’re eating in or taking away.
Boojum will open at 92 Merrion Street, Leeds in April 2024.
Livett’s Coffee Shop

You may have visited The Wardrobe for drinks and gigs, but how about speciality coffee? Get ready, because Livett’s Coffee Shop is about to arrive. They’ve taken over a corner of the famed venue, and transformed it into the new place to grab your cup of Joe, alongside all manner of tasty treats, from pastries to cakes. And during opening week, if you’re one of the first 25 visitors each day, you’ll bag yourself a free coffee.
Livett’s Coffee Shop will open at The Wardrobe on Monday 26th February 2024.
Wingstop

Wingstop is a legendary American fast food chain, and they’re about to set up shop in Leeds city centre. They’ve already got a dark kitchen in the city for takeaway treats, but soon you’ll be able to get your fill of wings right on Boar Lane in the former Barburrito. There’s their classic bone-in or boneless wings, available in 8, 10 or 12, as well as tenders in threes or fives, with ranch, blue cheese and honey mustard sauce. Throw in burgers, platters and fries, yum!
Wingstop will open on Boar Lane in spring 2024.
