Going out for a drink or two is always a good idea, but it gets even better when there’s a drinks offer to take advantage of. From cut-price cocktails to bargain beers, there’s something to suit every whim in this guide to to the best happy hour deals in Leeds. Check them out below.

Looking for somewhere to have after-work drinks with your pals? Head straight to Lazy Lounge, where you’ll find one of the finest happy hour deals in Leeds. It runs from 3pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday, and you’ll certainly be filling your boots when you find out what’s in store.

Pints of Guinness and Northern Monk’s A Little Faith are a steal at just £4.50, alongside glasses of prosecco & house wine. It doesn’t stop there either, you can also grab their creative cocktail of the week for £6 and two of their signature Spicy Margs for only £12 all night long – or for four hours, at least.

You’ll know Canary Bar as the bright yellow shipping container overlooking Leeds Dock, but did you also know they boast an amazing drinks offers? From 4pm to 7pm, Sunday to Friday, you can enjoy their happy hour specials.

You can soak up the sun on their dockside terrace and grab a £5 pint of Canary Lager or Appleshed Cider, as well as two of their stunning spritz cocktails for just £13. There’s Limoncello, watermelon, strawberry, Aperol, refreshing pamplemousse, and more on the cards – you just have to make sure to get two of the same.

Outlaws Yacht Club is a cafe, a bar, a record shop, an exhibition space and a hairdressers… have we covered everything? Oh wait, we forgot, it’s also a great place to grab a cheap drinks! Their happy hour runs from 5pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday.

For those three hours, you can enjoy £3.30 pints of Freedom Lager (that’s got to be one of the cheapest in Leeds), as well as a house spirit & mixer and a medium glass of wine all for the same price. While you’re here, why not grab one of their stellar three-cheese toasties to line your stomach with?

Looking for an after-work treat? You can get just that at The Lost & Found Club. The beautiful restaurant is adorned with ornate chandeliers, antiques and decorative pillars, and has an equally beautiful drinks offer in the form of two cocktails for £12, available from 4pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday.

Drinks must be two of the same cocktail, and is limited to their after-work drink selection. So, what will it be? The Jerry’s Biscoff Shake is perfectly indulgent, the Strawberry Bon Bon sweet in the best way but we always go for the French Martini – it’s just a classic.

Hidden out of the way on Wellington Street’s West Point, Leeds Postal Service is well worth the visit for their happy hour deals alone – how does a £2.80 can of Tennent’s Larger, a £3.70 Theakston Bitter or a £3.80 Henry Weston’s Cider sound?

If beer isn’t your thing, there’s loads more to keep you – ahem – happy. House wine comes in at £4, and you can sip on a glass of prosecco for the same price. The real magic happens with the 2 for £12 cocktails – Pina Coladas or Strawberry Daiquiris anyone?

Looking for somewhere to kick off your night out in Leeds? Sandinista is the place to be. Not only is the rocking and rolling bar perfect for a good old boogie, but you can also make use of their cocktail offer while tucking into their delicious grub.

From 4pm to 7pm Sunday to Thursday, you can grab any of their top 10 cocktails for just £7.50. What’s more they have a taco hour deal Sunday to Thursday between 5pm and 6pm where you can enjoy £2.50 tacos, £4 beers and £7 Olmeca margaritas. Add in DJs spinning the very best of classic rock and indie tunes and you have yourself a recipe for a good old time.

The Brotherhood of Pursuits and Pastimes

Not only is The Brotherhood one of the city’s most popular sports bars, it’s also home to one of the best happy hours in Leeds. Named after cricket legend David Gower, Their Power Hour runs Monday to Friday from 12pm to 7pm.

They’ll pour you a pint of Stella for £4.50, a medium glass of house wine for £5, a single spirit and mixer for £4.50 (£8 for doubles) and a bottle of prosecco for only £15 – wow! They even take it one step further by offering two for £10 on select cocktails all day, everyday as part of their cocktail club.

A beautiful riverside location, delicious wood-fired pizzas and artisan gins? It can only be Water Lane Boathouse. Add 2 for £14.50 cocktails all day, every day into the equation and you have yourself the perfect place to while away an afternoon.

The cocktails must be two of the same, but if you bring along a pal you can mix ’n’ match. All the classics are present and correct, from the Aperol Spritz to the Tropic Sangria, but you can also slurp up equally delicious original concoctions – like the Kiwi Sling, a perfect blend of spiced rum and apple.

Pizza is always a good idea, but it’s even better when it’s free, right? Cuckoo seem to agree, as they’re giving you the chance to nab a free pizza with any drink before 9pm, every day of the week. You heard that right.

Aperol frozen slushies, Raspberry Ripple Spritzes and fantastical Candyfloss Carnivals pair perfectly with slices of the Hot Honey and Cuckoo Carbonara. They even have a dedicated Yorkshire pizza, with a gravy base, mozzarella and chicken – crazy, but that’s what Cuckoo’s all about.

From burrata with tenderstem broccoli and chilli oil to tender pulled lamb leg, Galleria’s food offering is already top-notch, but they’ve really elevated it with the introduction of their happy hour from 5pm to 7pm, Thursday to Saturday.

It’s here where you can grab two cocktails or two spritzes for £15. So, what will it be? Infused with pineapple tequila, the Tommy’s Margarita is a personal favourite, but the Campari Spritz might just take the biscuit. The sweetness of the prosecco cuts through the bitterness of the Campari making for an utterly moreish and refreshing tipple.

Neighbourhood

Neighbourhood’s happy hour is perfect for any occasion, be it an after-work debrief or a Sunday blowout before a bottomless brunch. It runs all day on Thursdays and Sundays and it’s seriously exhaustive.

We’re talking £5 selected pints, £6 glasses of fizz and £25 bottles of prosecco, and don’t even get us started on the 2-4-1 cocktails. Choose from a dedicated menu that features showstoppers like the signature, sugary-sweet Raspberry Beret and the oldie-but-still-a-goodie Disaronno Sour.

Canal Club

It may be a bar that’s slightly under your radar, but don’t underestimate Canal Club – they have one of the best happy hour deals in Leeds. It runs from 3pm to 7pm Monday to Thursday, and it isn’t limited to just drinks, oh no.

Although you can bag yourself 2 for £12 cocktails, a bottle of house wine for £13.50 and a pint of Canal Club pilsner for £4.20, you can also indulge in three small plates for £23.95. After all, what’s better to line your stomach with than nachos, sticky pork bites and halloumi fries?

Tiki Hideaway

The flaming cocktails at Tiki Hideaway are sure to inject some serious heat into your night, but then again, so will their happy hour. It runs from 5pm to 11pm Sunday to Thursday and then 5pm to 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

They’ve got 2 for £15 cocktails up for grabs, and trust us, the bartenders seriously know their stuff. In line with the tiki theme, rum is the spirit of choice here, shaken up into delightful concoctions such as the Blackstrap Daiquiri. This isn’t any old daiquiri, infused instead with lime juice and ginger cordial for a dark and stormy twist.

Brooklyn

Every day is happy at Brooklyn. It’s here where you can sip on 2 for £14 cocktails every day of the week up until 9pm, all inspired by the hip-hop and R&B tunes they love to blare.

You’ve got Gin ’n Juice, an ode to Snoop and Dr Dre, the cleverly named Death Sloe Records and the delicious Figgy Smalls, a nod to hip-hop royalty, Notorious B.I.G. The Chronic is a naughty bright green concoction of pear, apple, melon and foaming bitters. To top if off? A shot of CBD oil.

The Maven

Did someone say Friday Cocktail Club? The Maven is the not-so-secret speakeasy bar that we all know and love, and every Friday they’re giving you the chance to sup 2 classic cocktails for £15.

When we say classic cocktails, we mean the most popular ones you’ll find at most bars, from Espresso Martinis and Margaritas to French Martinis to Negronis. Just ask your friendly bartender to whip it up for you and take your night from there.

The End Bar

Chic and cheeky, The End Bar is a lavish spot in Hirst’s Yard, that’s as perfect for a party as it is for post-work drinks.

They’ll blow your socks off with their Buff Butlers Bottomless Brunch and their happy hour offer is just as enticing. Between 4pm and 8pm every day, apart from Saturday, you can grab two of any of their drinks for the price of one. For an added bonus, take on their ‘beat the clock’ challenge and you could get all your drinks on the house.

Electric Shuffle

Electric Shuffle’s happy hour runs from 3pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday. You can sip on a pint of Amstel for £4, the ‘Cocktail of the Month’ for £7 and a bottle of prosecco for £25. Feeling fancy? Treat yourself to a full bottle of Champagne for £45 – now that’s worth toasting!

Housed in a Grade II-listed building, the immersive gaming bar is best known in Leeds for their high-tech shuffleboards, so grab a glass (or two) and make it an afternoon to remember.

Smokestack

Not only is Smokestack one of the liveliest bars in Leeds, they also have a happy hour that’s sure to get you on your feet and dancing. ‘Movers & Shakers’ runs from Thursday to Sunday, offering up 2 cocktails for £15.

They’ve rounded up 10 of their most iconic tipples for you to choose from, so take your pick from the likes of Old Fashioneds, Daiquiris, White Russians and more. If you’re asking us, the Espresso Martini is the best choice if you want to keep the good times going.

Call Lane Social has been the cornerstone of Leeds nightlife for nearly 25 years now, so it’s a given they know how to do a smashing happy hour. It runs from 5pm to 8pm every day of the week, but what’s up for grabs?

Their ‘Rule of Three’ offering gets you a dangerous combination of a Moretti, a Daiquiri and a tequila shot for a bargainous £10. Elsewhere, Espresso Martinis and Negronis come in at £6, so grab one of each and head off to the dance floor.

The New Conservatory

A time-honoured fixture on the Leeds scene, the New Conservatory is a classic bar and restaurant with a cracking happy hour menu to boot.

Between 4pm and 10pm Monday to Friday, you can enjoy a variety of draught beers for £4.50, bottles for £4, double spirits and mixers for £6, a bottle of prosecco for £17.95 and more! They also have a 2 for £14 cocktail offer available when you book so there’s no excuse not to grab yourself a bargain.

Parkside Tavern have a great happy hour deal, made even better by the fact it lasts all day, every day – did somebody say happy day? You can grab 2 for £12 cocktails, and they must be two of the same. So, what’s on offer?

Classics are covered by delights like Long Island Iced Teas and Tequila Sunrises, while the bartenders have also created their own signature concoctions. Take the Rumset Slip, a genius mixture of spiced rum, pineapple juice, lime and vanilla syrup – delicious.

Distrikt

It’s always party time at Distrikt. Hidden down an alley off Duncan Street and down the stairs in a basement is where you’ll find one of the best happy hour deals in Leeds, while resident and guest DJs spin the very best of house and electronic, as well as a few guilty pleasures.

Their deal lasts from 5pm to 10pm, Sunday to Friday (or all night if you’ve got a valid student ID). £3 pints? Check. A £15 bottle of prosecco? Check. 3-4-£10 shots? Check and double check. You can even enjoy two cocktails for £14, be it the Choc Orange Espresso Martini or the Apricot Cosmo.
