The Apprentice winner is bringing her ambitious plans to life.

North Studio in Leeds will expand to include a dedicated studio for Reformer Pilates.

The plans are the first joint initiative for owner Rachel Woolford and Lord Alan Sugar following her winning BBC’s The Apprentice in 2024.

As part of their partnership, the pair have purchased the commercial premises next door to the existing Roundhay North Studio. This will see the boutique fitness studio grow their Pilates offering with an additional 120 monthly classes.

Design and fit out has already started on the Reformer Pilates studio, which is expected to open in early February. This will add to the existing range of classes, workshops and the on-site Refuel Kitchen – and marks the first step in Rachel’s ambitious long-term business vision.

“At North Studio, we’re all about delivering the highest quality, small group personalised fitness experiences,” said Rachel. “With investment from Lord Sugar, we are now able to achieve the next stage in our planned growth with the addition of a fantastic new space dedicated to Reformer Pilates that is still in keeping with our boutique studio vibe.”

Lord Sugar added: “Our acquisition of the commercial premises marks not only a significant milestone for North Studio but also a bold step forward in our new business partnership. This project brings an expansion of the existing North Studio offering and is a direct response to the growing demand in the fitness industry for Reformer Pilates.”
